      Jan/Feb 2023 I had an appointment with PA Roxanne at Urology Nevada, I brought in results of an abdominal CT scan that I had done just days prior that had been ordered by my primary care doctor which showed the size of the kidney stones I had. Roxanne stated she was going to order another CT scan. When I questioned this, she stated that she was ordering one that would be more detailed and be able to get a more accurate size of the kidney stones. So I went back to Reno Diagnostic to get another CT scan thinking this one was going to be different and more detailed than the previous one.  After paying $225, and after the test was over one of the radiologist came from the back room questioning me. Asking me "wasn't I just there a few days ago having the same test done?". I told him yes, but they had wanted a more detailed image of the kidney stones. This is when he informed me I just had the EXACT SAME CT scan that I had a few days earlier. The radiologist stated that unfortunately this happens somewhat frequently. That medical staff doesn't have enough training and understanding of the various CT scans they order. So they give classes to try to help and assist with this. I tried for months to contact the office manager, Sabrina P****. I received no replies so I went into the office to speak to her directly in March 2023. She stated she would speak with Dr H*** and get back to me. Ive still heard nothing back from her. I know this was an honest mistake on their part. But I don't feel I should be personally responsible to pay for their staff's mistake. I feel they should reimburse me the $225 I had to pay for the unnecessary duplicate CT scan.
