Technician stated part was in stock not a problem to get and be back within the week. Part was not in stock, had to order. A different technician came out to install, needed another part, had to order. 3 weeks later and not on the schedule as promised by the technician (blamed customer for miscommunication). I called and was told they had to schedule 2 technicians or 2hrs for a 15 min job to plug in a capacitor. I requested an itemized invoice and was told they don't provide that, I insisted that they provide me with ALL costs.Temperatures at the freezing **** for 3 weeks, kids in household and they wouldn't consider this an emergency situation nor provide a detailed invoice. Undeserving of 1 star.Unethical.

I had been using this company for almost 5 years and until now everything was fine. In early June I had my annual HV** maintenance and that night the circuit board burned up. They did come out and replace it and the ** continued working for about 6 weeks but then it stopped on the night before I was about to move out of state. The new owners got it repaired and were billed for another circuit board as well as a new motor at a cost of over 900 dollars. I asked Michaels to take some responsibility for having messed up my ** in the first place. They refused saying I should have called them yet again for the additional repairs. Since I had moved out at that time, that was not possible. I feel that Michaels should compensate the new owners for the repairs made necessary by their incompetence. But they are hiding behind a warranty stipulation that they do the repairs themselves. This doesnt seem ethical. In any event I want the public to be warned about this company.
