    We boarded our two dogs at this kennel. I went and visited prior to leaving them and the only thing that struck me as odd was there is no grass area. When we arrived to drop them off, we were presented with a waiver that had to be signed allowing them to use "shock" collars if needed. It was explained that they are in a residential area and in order to not be "shut down" for barking/noise complaints, they have resorted to using shock collars if the noise cancellation didn't work. Their website does not mention this and the pictures I recalled showed regular collared dogs. It also doesn't state they do not, emphasis added, allow barking. We also provided consent for treatment at our vet, if needed, at our expense. Upon our return, our dog was bleeding from her r***** They were both filthy. We immediately took her in for an emergency vet consult. She was unable to sit up while waiting for our turn and didn't care or react to any of the other dogs or people coming and going. This is absolutely out of character for her. $800 later she was diagnosed with "stress colitis". Her colon was "super inflamed" causing the blood coming from her r***** We would have never left them if we had known they "do not allow barking" emphasis added and when seeing that she was bleeding from her ******, they did not immediately take her to the vet for evaluation and treatment or notify us of the same. In my opinion, not allowing barking and resorting to shock treatment as punishment rises to the level of abuse. Her demeanor at the vet and blood dripping from her r***** and ignored certainly supports that. Worst experience EVER!...especially for our dog! I only selected one star rating because it would post without doing so...actually I would like to select a negative five...
