When I checked in, my hotel room was 57 degrees. I attempted to turn up the heat with the thermostat, and after an hour and a half, my room had gotten down to 54 degrees. I started shivering and called the front desk, and security answered. They said there is nothing they can do, since the front desk is the only one who would be able to change my room. They told me to "stick it out" until the front desk arrives. After several minutes of telling security that is unacceptable, they finally offered to send engineering to my room. Engineering said someone closed off the heating valves, and that is why my room was blowing only cold air. They said the room will take a while to heat up again. It has been about half an hour since engineering left to look at the problem. I am still shivering! it is slowly getting better, since my room temperature if back to 56F, but I am freezing! While I was "sticking it out", not only was my room getting colder and colder, but it was also blowing air, which made me FEEL even colder. I wasn't sure if I should turn the thermostat off, since I had it set on heat. Would that make my room colder?? OR should I leave the thermostat on, even though it is blowing cold air??It is in the 30s outside!! I am horrified that I have to pay for this awful hotel! How can I sleep when the hotel room is in the 50Fs??

Ms. *** First and foremost, we would like to extend our sincerest apologies for the issues you faced during your stay. We strive to provide an excellent and comfortable experience, but in this case we fell short. To our understanding the Hotel Operations Director reached out to you this morning and offered you a late check out for your convenience and he will be crediting back your last night. We do hope that this provides a resolution to this inconvenience. We know that you have a choice when picking your home away from home, and we do hope that one day you may consider giving Ballys Lake Tahoe a second chance. Please, feel free to reach out to the hotel if you would like to discuss this matter further. If that is the case, please ask to be directed to the executive administrator at extension 2105. Sincerely, Ballys Lake Tahoe Management

Appalled at the lack of cleanliness, quality of bedding, upkeep of room and subpar bedding. Paying a premium for a *********************** Room for a 15 year anniversary, one doesn't expect cracked sinks, dirty window *****, broken bathroom sliding doors, the wrong size sheets on the bed with 3 tiny pillows and a an "extra blanket" that looks like a curtain. Adding insult to injury they charge for parking we did NOT use and a resort fee for amenities (gym, business center, pool) that we did not utilize and when we asked for the fees to be reversed, they agreed, but did NOT take them off CC charges. Complaining to management and asking for a discount does no good; they do not keep their word. Such a shame for a once respected name in gaming and hospitality. PLEASE SAVE THE MONEY AND THE AGGRAVATION! There are plenty of other options at South Shore. DO. NOT. EVER. THINK. OF. STAYING. HERE.THIS BUSINESS IS NOT BBB ACCREDITED!

Bally's does not cater to the hard of hearing. My wife and I have stayed at Montblu many times without any problems. This is our first time at ******* and we were surprised to find no closed caption on the *** Bally's is number four at stateline and this is one reason why. We won't be back
