      I had worked here for 2 years, left in August of 2024. I have seen countless people leaving because of the terrible business practices and hostile work environment from upper management. (**, Assistant *** HR, and Directors). There is no racial diversity, there is an essence of bigotry and sexism throughout the company. While managing the *******, I have personally witnessed a severe amount of retaliation, unethical actions and punishments, targeting, distasteful jokes, sabotage and witch-**** behaviors, favoritism, blatant ignoring of employee concerns, unobtainable expectations, not allowing employees to take their breaks, belittling employees for having disabilities, extreme hours for salary workers, not treating staff equally, harsher than necessary punishments in order to force a person to quit, and 86'ing past employees "just because".There is not enough room here, but I will testify to seeing all of these things first-hand. My department and I being the target of most of these crimes, personally. The Assistant *** *** ***** needs to be investigated for his bad business practices. The *** *** ********, is seemingly a very genuinely nice, however he must know these things are happening and turning a blind eye. I will be happy to present my personal account of these things to him directly, but everything passes through *** ***** before it gets to ***. Suspicious...***** ****, the HR Director is very knowledgeable at his role, however he also informs *** on everything that passes through the HR office.*****, the Hotel Opps Director acts in his emotions and this will determine how he treats most employees on any given day. He has set unrealistic standards in order to have a reason for write-ups or termination of an employee but fail to get tasks done that employees need from him. I have witnessed the above-mentioned actions coming from him and *** ***** specifically. There is no protection for employees at Boomtown at all. Ask anybody who has worked there.

      BOOMTOWN HOTEL IS ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING! I booked a two night stay for NT Superior King NON SMOKING room. First of all we arrived our first night, (April 28th 2023) and the room was absolutely disgusting, smelt like tobacco horribly, cobwebs on the lamps next to the bed and a/c unit did not work properly so it was very hot. We went to get ice on the 3rd floor (where our room was) and the ice machine was broken. Once we finally got our Ice and went back to the room, inside the ice box was dirty with food and and even strands of hair! The remote for the ** was partially broken on the top and the service was absolutely horrible. I addressed the overall cleanliness of the room. They seemed apologetic and stated they would address it. It is now day two, after our first night in our hotel room and we come back to the room by the evening and nothing was addressed. I drove well over 300 miles to stay at this so called great hotel and it was the most horrible experience I have ever had and such poor customer service I literally left a day prior to my checkout date because i couldnt stand it. I hope they will make this right and address the house keeping and customer service or people will continue to have bad experiences here. Never again!
