    On 12/14/24, Clifton Development Group completed a roof on the property **** ***** ******* ****** ** *****. On 12/16/24 Clifton Development Group sent pictures of the roof, completed. On 12/17/24 Clifton Development Group was paid in full for their services. Per contract, any debris was to be removed and dump fees were included in price of job. The above contractor threw ALL debris into my neighbors backyard at *** ***** *** To this day, 1/23/25, it has yet to all be cleaned up, and it is going on 5 weeks. Clifton Development Group keeps coming up with excuses regarding weather conditions. But if this was all taken care of when the roof was completed back in December, this wouldn’t be an issue. After many failed attempts of getting Clifton Development Group to fulfill their duties, and them constantly postponing their responsibilities, I decided for formally complain to BBB. I was told on Friday 1/17/25 that there was a lot of progress made, but still not completed and they were planning on being back on Monday. He responded on Tuesday 1/21/25 stating they were being delayed due to weather and that they would be back on Thursday 1/23/25. I sent a follow up email today, 1/23/25 asking about progress and pictures, to which he replied he would be there tomorrow, 1/24/25. This has been an ongoing issue for 5 weeks and I’m at my wits end. Especially since all this debris is on my neighbors property and not my own.

    To Whom it may concern, we have been in contact with this individual as well as his wife. We rushed finishing the roof to make sure they had what they needed for the weather, we did have a crew coming for the refuse but they canceled on us at the last minute, we have others who are ready to remove the garbage but the weather in Albany NY for the past few weeks has been well below freezing. We have on multiple times let the owner know that the debris has been frozen to the ground and we cant get it until it warms up a bit and they don't seem to want to hear that. Not once have we said we have any refusal of removing the debris, we 100% plan on it, but this gentleman has been nothing short of rude and aggressive to the point of bullying in order to have us do something we cannot do, due to the extreme temperatures. I have attached an email correspondence to show we have been in constant contact with them, they also text and call our manager every single day. They have threatened us with this action with yourselves several times. We stand by our work and we fix an issues we have, this has been an issue that is something we cant control.

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.   Please see the attached files showing the text/call logs. The above reply from Clifton Development was fabricated. Our experience with them leading up to this issue was fantastic. Me and the manager developed a good relationship and we were VERY understanding. This biggest issue at hand here, is that we are opened up to a lawsuit from our neighbor. And that is why we are so frustrated. As we explained in the attachments, if this was on our property we would not be going to this extreme to have it resolved. But Clifton Development Group opened us up to a lawsuit and that is just completely unacceptable.  Regards, ******* ******

    Kevin,  I have dump guys prepped to do the job next week. The only worry I have is it is still going to be below freezing through most of next week as far as I can see. Hopefully we can get it done, but if the weather holds us back we will have to wait until the snow melts and nothing is frozen into the ground
