They fraudulently submitted claims and then broke the vehicle. Not owning up to their negligence and are now ignoring me.
    - In my opinion

I had my 2014 in for a recall and inspection. I asked them first to do the recall to see if the check engine light went off before doing the inspection. They pulled my admittedly long overdue inspection sticker. Then they called me with thousands of dollars of work and totally flat out lied. One simple example was I believe $700 dollars or so for the entire wiring harness and light fixtures and sockets for my license plate bulbs. We were in the middle of a lot going on at home and I had let things lapse. I told them don’t touch it. I believe the emergency brake cable was not holding and that was new cables throughout, another $900. It added up to 2 or 3 grand. I have the initial estimate in the car. My 2 license plate bulbs were blown, no other issue. $5, then I replaced 1 cable for emergency brake, $175 bucks or so. He admitted the tech lied
Then I had to inform them that the codes showing up after the recall were related to the recall. The 1.6 engines were seizing, throwing rods etc and destroying cat convertor. Jim played dumb and looked into it. I was right. I did have a bad oxygen sensor and Of course the flex pipe between the manifold was “totally rotted and the oxygen sensor was hopelessly seized in it” I ate that $700 part but asked for the part.
I finally got around to finding my 22mm oxygen sensor sockets and just used my small impact tool and took it right out. No rot in the flex joint. I took a video to prove it. I am still contemplating legal action but I know how they lie.
Their service dept is like a chop shop. Replacing entire systems or parts,.worst I have ever run across and wouldn’t trust them with anything
I could have been into 3 1/2 to 4 grand. I ended up spending under $200 and got it inspected elsewhere at a reputable small shop. They soaked me for $750 or so when it should have been only the oxygen sensor for 150 or so
I finally got around to writing this. All documented, pictures, video etc
    Brutal
Would leave zero stars if possible

After an accident on Thanksgiving, my 2012 *** **** was brought here to evaluated and fixed if possible. The mechanics here declared it totaled. The 2nd week of December 2022 my insurance company informed me where it would be scrapped. I emptied the car and both my insurance and Destination Kia told us we were all set.
Last week in July I get a call from Fred that the car is still there and the storage fees are $17,000.00. Now I place a lot of the blame on ***** ******** but D K never uttered a word for 7 months.
I think this rating should be a negative 5.

In reviewing the case with the Collision Center Manager we were able to uncover the source of the discrepancy. ***** ******** was under the impression that Mr ***** was going to wind up keeping his totalled car. As a result they believed that he was going to be arranging his own transport. Mr ***** claimed that he was not planning to keep the car and that ***** ******** was mistaken. So Mr ***** is of the belief that ***** ******** is picking it up and the insurance company believes that Mr ***** is handling it. That is why the vehicle was never towed away. Only when we received no cooperation from ***** ******** did we reach out to the insured. Matthew in our Collision Center resolved the discrepancy and the vehicle was towed away around the first of August with no charge to Mr *****. We apologize for the confusion and are pleased that we were able to resolve at no expense to the customer.

I bought a new 2023 *** **** 11/21/22 and it was hit 12/27/22 and I have been waiting for replacement parts since. It is now 4/6/2023. Since this hit and run incident, my car was hit again this time they were charged as liable and my car is not drivable and was towed to there collision center. Kia collision center has made it clear that Destination Kia is not at fault but the manufacturer and that will not issue a loaner car while I am waiting for parts. Insurance only pays up to $1000 for rental cars and that is give or take 3-4 weeks at best. I suggest you DO NOT PURCHASE A KIA at this time. I was unfortunate it seems and I would not wish this on anyone.

Destination Kia is not a dealership that I would recommend. This dealership's culture is inward-focused and does not care about its customers. If you have a choice, choose another dealership. The general manager seems decent, and you should not have to deal directly with the general manager at a large dealership.

Mr *****, we appreciate your feedback and apologize for your disappointing experience. As we discussed last week, any dealership can be five star when everything is going smoothly. It is in the response to problems or complaints and the manner in which a dealership approaches problem solving where the true value of a company is defined. Along with Jim A******, our Service Director, I will work to get your new car back to you in proper running order offering you the "core competency" you referenced to me when we met. Respectfully, David R****

I have been bringing my car to Kia for over 10 months to try and have an engine concern fixed, every appointment and diagnostic test ran the issues I was bringing to them were never resolved. The car was burning oil quarts at a time within 1k miles after having an oil change done. I was told multiple times to drive the car till the engine faults. Now the engine has failed and it’s no longer covered under any warranty. Now I’m being charge 8k to have a new engine when I’ve consistently brought my car in for an engine concern.
