      I moved to Iroquois village apartment owned by Burns Management on December 7th. The noise and vibrations from the garage door located directly beneath my bedroom have become a serious disturbance. For instance, on December 12th at 12:30am and December 14th at 2:30 a.m., the sound and vibrations of the garage door woke me up when a neighbor entered the garage. This incident caused me to lose sleep, and such disturbances are occurring frequently, affecting both my well-being and quality of life. I had surgery. I need quiet place to recover. I’m seeking help for the transfer to another unit without transfer fee.

      I have reached out to ****** **** regarding this matter. He is out of town for the month, but our garage doors are the quietest door openers Overhead door sells. My maintenance technician looked at the one under his apartment and if is operating just fine.

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  
      BBB spoke to the customer and the following was relayed: The company took my whole security deposit. I have received no refund and they said I owed them another $136.

      ******* ****** to LESSEE's forwarding address or addresses, along with an itemized
      accounting of any charges or damages deducted, approximately fourteen (14) after move-out. However, in the event
      that, for reasons beyond LESSOR’S control, the security deposit cannot be returned within said time period,
      LESSOR will endeavor to return said security deposit as soon as possible and LESSEE agrees that in no event shall
      LESSOR be liable for any damages to LESSEE of any nature as a result of said delay. LESSEE’S liability for such
      default shall not be limited to such Security Deposit or interest.
      LESSEE affirms that this Security Deposit may not be applied to rent due, and that a full monthly rent will be paid
      on or before the due date of each month, including the last month of occupancy.

       Below is the reason why she did not receive a security deposit refund.  She was informed of these reasons. Please see the attached photos. There were stains on the carpet in several rooms. If I replace the carpet due to very bad staining, then I replace the entire apartment to match. She caused this issue as the carpet was brand new when she moved in, not to mention the other damage throughout the apartment.
