The week of November 29, 2024 I had booked a room from a 3rd party website for the Comfort Inn Apalachin from 11/29-11/30. The 3rd party site had charged me twice, but refunded me back 1 of the transactions. Upon arriving at the hotel on 11/29, the desk clerk took my credit card and the following day there was a charge in the amount of 111.11 for the one night stay which never should have been processed since I already paid through the 3rd party website. I contacted Comfort Inn in December and spoke with the front desk manager numerous of times, in which she said the owners have to process the refund but they live far away so when they came into the hotel she would speak to them. Weeks went by, and I continued to get the same answer and no refund. I called today, 1/13/25 and I was told there was no way they could refund since its a new year. Not sure how that is my fault since I started this process in December and my money should have been refunded.
