I have an agreement with book marketeers, that theyre not honoring. They didnt do any spell checks, are grammar corrections in my manuscript before publishing my book. When I pointed it out to them, they said that I would have to pay an additional fee to make the corrections. Something I paid for up front. I was supposed to receive 10 copies of my book, but only received 5.

I hired Book Marketeers to publish 2 books English and French). ********************* provided me with a final draft for which all payments were made based on the contract. I have made first deposit for *** Marketing. I have approved the final draft for which I should get a total of 20 copies of the books. 10 copies for the English draft and 10 copies for the French draft. Before the copies were delivered ********************* reached out to me to sell me marketing service for which I made a first installment payment of $600 with a remaining balance of $600. **************** reached out to me to provide the final payment for the marketing service of $600. I refused to make the other payment of $600 for *** marketing because they have not fulfilled some of the terms of the publishing contract; for example, I never received copies of the books. I emailed them and informed them it is illogical to make a final payment to market the books when copies of the books have not been provided yet. Since then, they have been unresponsive to calls, and are very delayed in replying to emails and eventually there has been no response to my emails. I will attach the emails and the contract here. I am seeking the following based on the email I sent the company since January 13, 2023: Basically, if they don't fulfill the publish contract, I am seeking refund for the portion of the contract they did not fulfill and then reimburse me the $600 for the *** Marketing. However, if they fulfill the first contract fully, I will pay the remaining $600 afterwards for the *** marketing. Dear **** and *****,I have reached out twice already and I haven't heard back from either of you. I have offered the opportunity to discuss but no response. Therefore, this is my follow up email. If I don't hear back from you soon as per contract, I am requesting the full $600 refund for the payment that I made on June 2022 for Amazon *** marketing AND to reimburse me for the portion of the first contract that you have not been able to deliver yet on for example the following: -10 copies each for the English and French draft for a total of 20 complimentary copies *********************** Setup -eBook *********************** -Paperback Distribution -Optional ******************************* -Publishing Imprint ************************** Material -Kindle ISBN barcode -Amazon, ****** and *****, ******************

On July 6, 2022, I contacted Book Marketeers to inquire about marketing services for my children's book. I spoke with *********************, ************** Specialist. The same day, I received an email message from ************** [see attachment #3], and the email message included a service agreement. After reviewing the agreement, I submitted payment for services on July **, 2022 [see attachment #4]. On the same day, I received a welcome letter from *********************, assigned as my Project Manager [see attachment #5]. Between July 14, 2022 and January 25, 2023, I made several attempts to have the company satisfactorily complete the website and the other items outlined in the agreement [see attachment #6]. In addition, I have requested a refund, in writing and verbally, on multiple occasions. I also asked, in writing on January 25, 2023, that someone from the company contact me, and to date, I have not received any communication from Book Marketeers.I have also attached pictures of various pages from the website (taken on January 20, 2023) [see attachments #7, #8, #9, #**, and #**]. In addition to an incomplete website, there has been no social media development or marketing/advertising of the book as outlined in the agreement. I believe Book Marketeers caused me to lose an opportunity for sales during the holiday season, and I communicated this to **********************I initially filed a complaint with the **************************** of the ************************* in ******** [see attachment #2], and I received a response from that office [see attachment #1].
