This pet urgent care is the only service available in the city of Auburn and the surrounding area (Ithaca and East Syracuse closest).ABSOLUTELY THE WORST - STAY AWAY AT ALL COST ! I will share my experience and you decide .
The staff DO NOT allow grieving and concerned pet owners to stay with their animal upon examination NO MATTER THE SITUATION..Even though I took a picture of Exam Room 1 and 2 off of the chairless lobby, pets are whisked away from owners. Loved ones are told to go SIT IN their cars and wait for a call . CAN YOU ONLY IMAGINE THIS SCENARIO.? I happened to be lucky enough to be inquiring about my 12 year dear dog’s UTI, yes or no .I did not release my dog to these unfamiliar, unfriendly, unprofessional strangers without me. They had the dog’s urine and I was that was plenty to make a diagnosis. My dog and I went to the car. 55 minutes later, the call came. We were able to be seen. Not both of us, just the dog and I didn’t agree. I was sold the biggest bill of goods!. I agreed to pay for the analysis of the urine. I agreed to pay for the exam because I couldn’t get the results of the urine analysis without the exam that I couldn’t attend. The cost was to be upwards of $300 and I still agreed. No dice!!! I asked to see the doctor or speak to the doctor Even have the doctor examine the dog in one of these 2 exam rooms . Not possible no can-do !!
After 40 minutes of an aide running someplace behind the secret door and once again explaining their policy, I still just wanted to know if my dog had a UTI? They were sorry but I was not to learn that information without an exam behind the secret door where dogs were howling. I even offered to stand outside the door and look thru the window. NO!!
End of the day I could pay for urine analysis but no meds if positive!!! Out of my mind but paying anyway.
A Couple then walks in w/sic old dog . I loudly say “Go to Ithaca” Lab tech tells me to leave or calling police.
We never ran the urine analysis!
    ENOUGH
