Every tine i would take my camper to wilkins for service they would charge us for extra work. First time we had it inspected the tech said the nails were starting to pop through the roof and was under warranty, once they tried to go through the manufacture that wound not cover it they no longer said the nails were no problem. the next year the slide out was scraping on the floor and blamed us for not bring it in for there extra service they wanted close to 2,000 for repairs. my wife called the manufacture and got it repair down to 800 they clamed that when traveling down the road the slide would bounce all over the place. this year brought it for nys insp had a 9am app on Thursday brought it in the day before and expected a phone call, called at 4pm and was told i tire had a gouge and would not pass inspection, tried to sell all four tires, had no idea on price and also not in stock. yet they have a sign saying same day service. i informed them that i would be there to pick it up to take some where else. as i was there my wife called a manager and told them all our problems. gave them 5 minutes as i was hooking it up to the truck, my wife drove to anther place and got a appointment for the next day and said they would have a tire to replace, had the trailer for 8 hours and waited till 4 to inspect and had to find out with a phone call. seams like there only in the business to make a profit. no longer will we bring back for anythingWilkins Recreational Vehicles, Inc.

1 starI bought a brand new ***** travel trailer in Feb. of 2025. Towed it home in Feb. and parked it until we went camping on 5/23 and noticed while i was packing the camper that the grease cover on one of the wheels was already missing. Got to the campsite and before we left 2 days later, the hardware failed on one of the cabinets. Next time camping, another cabinet hardware failed. ( I replaced both myself). 3rd time out required to use the pump for water. Filled the tank, got to the site and set up and no water. Found the pump under the kitchen sink and the line from the tank to the pump was kinked shut. This required a trip to the hardware store and time away from camping to make my brand-new camper work. That same day it started to rain, and it was around lunch time. We never used the stove in the camper before. I was going to make eggs. Went to the stove and lifted the glass up and when i went to fold it, it shattered into a million pieces. When we got back home, I called Wilkins and explained what happened. I took photos of the stove and sent them. 2 days later, i get a call that ***** thinks i broke it with a pan. If i wanted a new one, it would cost me $278.00. I was told "it's the manufacturer not us that built it". You advertise excellent service, premium makes and here i sit with 14 and 1/2 years left to pay on a unit that every time you use it, it breaks. Don't trust these people. They are nice until the check clears! And also, stay away from *****, they are junk. I hope you take my advice.Review fromMichele B

I purchased a new 2021 **** *** ****** in May of 2021. In October of 2022 we took our camper to FL and when we opened it up the walls in the bedroom had split and creaked. We were able to get his covered under warranty even thought it was over the 1 year. Fast forward to Dec 2024 and we took another trip with it to FL and the same thing happened. I emailed Wilkins when I returned with photos of what happened and was told I would have to pay $99 plus tax to determine the issue and see if the company would cover. It was also a suggestion to contact the company myself as this helps to get things approved. I decided to bypass having to pay the $99 and contacted ****** ***** on my own. I was approved to have the work done under warranty so I emailed Wilkins (they were all CCd by the company letting them know how to fix and that it would be covered) to let them know it was approved and I just need to get it to them in the spring. April came and I emailed them to see when I could drop it off for the repairs and was dropped off on April 10th. I called on May 5th because I had not heard anything from them and was told they just got approval that day from the company, which I know is false as the company told me they gave approval on April 16th. I was told it would be ready on May 8th to pick up. We went to pick up and nothing had been done. We were then told there was some miscommunication and parts were not even in yet. There was no call, text or email telling me it would not be done. We had to bring back again and dropped off June 3rd and had a call June 5th that it was completed and ready for pickup. We went to pick up June 6th. I just went into the camper today to pack for this coming weekend and NO REPAIRS have been done!!!!!Wilkins Recreational Vehicles, Inc.

**Extremely Disappointed with Wilkins RV**
We purchased a *brand new* 2024 ********* from Wilkins RV with high hopes, but unfortunately, it has spent more time in their service department than at our home. We've made just 10 payments on it and only managed to take it on 3 trips — the rest of the time, it's been in the shop.
Right from the start, we've had major issues: the slide toppers, the fireplace, the slide-out, and now — to make matters worse — what appears to be **water damage from the roof**. Despite these ongoing problems, the Bath, NY service department has been unhelpful and incredibly frustrating to work with. One woman in particular was *extremely rude* when we tried to explain the repeated and unresolved issues.
We trusted Wilkins RV to sell us a quality camper, but it’s clear we were sold a lemon. Worse, they refuse to stand behind the product or work with us to reach a resolution. The fireplace issue — supposedly fixed — has returned, and now we're facing structural concerns with the roof. Once again, the RV is sitting at their shop instead of being enjoyed by our family.
Bottom line: **Wilkins RV sold us a damaged RV and has done nothing to make it right.** I would not recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable camper or a dealership that cares about their customers after the sale.Wilkins Recreational Vehicles, Inc.

1 starWe purchased an RV in July from the Churchville location. It was an odd situation where the RV was sold from another dealership to Wilkins. Therefore, when we bought the RV, it had to be sold as used (even though we are the first actual owners). Wilkins was supposed to show us that all components were in working condition when we came to pick up the RV. They did not. The tire pressure monitoring system was never taken out of the sealed box-there is no way they could have even checked it. This is our first RV and we had two young children with us, so we were not able to figure out how to hook the tire pressure monitoring system up on the spot. This should have been done for us. It still took three hours to sign paperwork. Part of this paperwork said that there was a 30-day warranty-just let them know the problem within 30 days. Seemed reasonable. Except when we got home and finally figured out what to do with the tire pressure monitoring system (the same week), it did not work out of the box and Wilkins refused to honor the warranty claiming that the tire pressure monitoring system is not specifically mentioned in the warranty. The salesperson refused to help us. A manager was supposed to call us back, but months later, never has. They should have proven to us that all parts worked and us notifying them the same week that something was wrong should have been enough to have the issue corrected. Be aware that they won’t show you that everything works unless you take the time to do it yourself before signing three hours of paperwork which is extra fun when two young children are involved. We will never shop here again. This was horrible customer service and they do not care at all to see things from the customer’s point of view.Review fromCarol C

1 starWe traded our tow behind in for a 2021 fifth wheel. We used it once and had it set up in our drive way. I went out after a day of rain to get it stocked for another trip and the slide-out had water pouring out the ceiling from the light fixtures. The table was soaked, the slide out floor was soaked, one of the recliners. The ceiling was starting to sag because of holding water. We called Wilkins and drove an hour and fifteen minutes the next day. They said they would get it right in. My husband called 8 days later to check on the progress and they never even looked at it even with it being in 90 degree heat. Two days later they called us back and said it's ready for pick up. We called to see what they did to repair and replace, they said they soaked the camper but didn't find a leak. Never touched the now probably molded insulation in the ceiling or the floor. Very disappointed with Wilkins RvReview fromRaymond C

1 starMy **** RV had a recall for unexpected deployment of the awning. The letter said ****** ***** instructed me to go back to the dealer where I purchased the van. I made an appointment and specifically asked that if a repair was necessary, that it would be done on that visit. The trip to the dealer was 800 miles (400 miles each way). They took pictures and said I need to return for the repair. Trip cost $245 to not get a repair and 13 hours of driving. Thank-you Wilkins!Review fromAlexis B

1 starPurchased a new 2024 camper. Don’t have hot water. Was told it was a priority and then was told it was not. Service can book an appointment but are booking out until end of August. Why should it be a customers problem to check fuses when it’s a new camper and is covered. A new camper should not have as many issues as we have had. Service was very rude and not understanding. Mind you it has taken us 2 weeks to get ahold of anyone regarding this matter as people do not call back. Figured we would support a local business but never again. Would not recommend to anyone.Review fromMichele B

1 starI purchased my unit just before merge from ***** ******** to Wilkins. I have nothing but issues with my until since I purchased new in 2021. I am very unhappy with the service department and the treatment we have gotten form Bobby. I have tried to make a complaint with the GM and left a message on Friday 09/22/23 at the Clay location (which is where it told he was) and still waiting on a phone call back. I am also waiting on an answer on what can be done with my until form Bobby since 09/05/23. I emailed him on 09/07/23 with the photos he requested and heard nothing. I emailed him on 09/20/23 asking for a status and his reply was as if he had no idea what was going on and asked when I wanted to make an appt. I replied the same day stating we already had a conversation on what the issues were and that I already had an appt and still no response. I then left a message with on 09/22/23 and as of today still nothing.Review fromJohn H

Do you want my most recent issue or problems I've had with them in the past? Took my Wilkins purchased camper in to have a minor leak repaired. Was quoted 187.00 plus tax 2 days later. The next day, the service manager calls me up and told me it was going to be 374.00. How can that be?? Well, I did ask them to give me a quote on a floor repair as well. They ** me and told me it took them an hour and a half to estimate the floor. Keep in mind I have a warranty. The service manager was not only rude and condescending, but tried to rip me off for a service they never bothered to perform other than to feel the floor with thier foot. Left a message with Brian Wilkins, but apparently he couldn't be bothered. I finally was able to get the bill down to where it should rightfully be thanks to some phone calls and being educated. Stay far away from this company as possible. You will be taken for a ride.Wilkins Recreational Vehicles, Inc.

Mr. ****, I apologize that you are not happy with your experience with our company and I apologize that you feel you couldn't reach me. My cell number is ###-###-####, if you still desire. The flow of events you outline above makes sense. Generally, at the start of a job, we quote a diagnostic fee. This is the fee we quote to confirm the issue, investigate its cause and come up with a recommended correction. Once we do that, we then quote you a fee to fix the issue. Very similar to process to most repair shops or services. I am glad to hear that you were able to work with our team and come to an agreed price. I again, I apologize that the experience was not to your satisfaction.
