    I had switch alarm monitoring company. The new owner, *********************, is licensed in ** and recently took over an alarm security company in ** formerly called Century Security LLC. This new owner is harassing me, stating I owe him money for my equipment. The former Century Security owner issued an addendum at the time of signing the original agreement back in December 2018, stating that I own the equipment and that I can cancel at ANY time. I own all the equipment in my home, and I am exercising my right to cancel at any time. Furthermore, the claims the new owner is referencing in the agreement are unlawful and predatory. In what world is discontinued equipment that was worth $400.00 when new now worth $******** over 6 years? AWS are frivolous and the agreement they are referencing contains provisions that are unenforceable. For example, the claim that the equipment is worth ******** is predatory. The equipment was never worth that amount and today is discontinued having very little value. I am forwarding copies of the referenced agreements to the ************************ for review. If he is treating me this way, I am sure he is treating others the same way. I should not be billed for equipment I already own. I canceled my account on March 5, 2024. The previous owner of Century issued an addendum to the agreement, clearly stating that I own the equipment and can cancel at any time. Furthermore, I am providing proof from a leasing company confirming that I owned the equipment after paying through a third party.Upon conducting thorough research, I have found that the company is not licensed in the *********** to install or service equipment for anyone. Consequently, it is not authorized to conduct business in ** and is only authorized in ********. I want to be refunded for my March 6, 2024, payment deducted from my checking account. I am able to cancel at any time each month. I cancelled my monitoring on March 5, 2024.

    This owner, ********************* came to our house with promises to fix security issues we had. We just moved in and the previous owners told us it was his system. He came on August 9th and came whenever was convinient to him through December. He never had me sign a contract, never told me a price or hourly rate and just reassured me that he would not charge for all the times he came over. He came over multiple times, did absolutely no work but would spend hours here, and for issues that were seemingly not complicated (ie. setting up wifi). He made inappropriate comments, stayed late, took personal phone calls and now has sent us a bill with no list of the work he has supposedly done, and with a daily rate that was never disclosed. Had he disclosed this information with us, we would have no agreed for his services or at least held him more accountable for his work. There are multiple witnesses who saw his behavior, making my daughter extremely uncomfortable in the meantime. He was never on time, never stayed for less than 2-3 hours and got nothing done. He is now blaming us for not being able to make a decision which is not the case at all. This man clearly had no idea what he was doing, made us uncomfortable by making sexual comments to my daughter. All we asked for is an itimized bill with the work he did which he couldn't produce. He is now threatening us to be sent to collections. I have paid him a $1200 and he hasn't even taken it off the bill.
