I was renting a storage unit. I called the customer service line to give my notice of moving out. I was told I had until 2/28/25 by 5pm to vacate. I had the unit cleared out by 11am on 2/28/25. On 3/1 I was charged for another months rent. I have never been on automatic payments, but my card was on file from when I first rented. I tried calling the customer service line but now cannot get through. But when I text the manager he claims because I didnt give him 10days notice. I called the customer service line and gave my 10 days notice. He took my money for another month but I do not have access into the facility anymore as of 2/28.

The basis of the complaint is that customer complied with her lease agreement by giving us ten days notice of her intent to move out.  This is a strict and well known policy of our facility and gives us time to find a new customer for the unit to be vacated.  As can be seen by the attached call center automated note system, this customer called on Feb. 20th, only eight days prior to the end of the month, being Feb 28th.  This created a legal obligation for her to pay the next month's rent.

This documentary evidence completely refutes her position.

Under the circumstances, we request that you make a finding which confirms the foregoing.
