    I called rd appliance for a dishwasher repair. In the course of fixing the dish washer the technician damaged a pipe under the sink. The technician acknowledged this and said he would be back to fix it. The owner who refused to give me his last name told me the company would not fix the leak and I needed a plumber at my own expense. I hired a plumber who advised that the pipe that was leaking needed to be worked on in order for the dishwasher to be repaired. The owner and office manager Ireland, were not at all professional and did not stand by their employee. I would think twice before ever using this company.

    Hi *****. Thank you for your feedback. Your dishwasher water inlet valve repair is complete and functional and that repair does indeed come with a one year warranty on parts and labor. The issue under your sink is unrelated to the dishwasher and is a plumbing issue. ************** attempted to help you with that problem but unfortunately its a bit more in depth and requires a professional plumber. Since our technicians are trained on appliances only and are not plumbers we recommend that a licensed plumbing company come out to fix the leak from your sink drain pipe.     Hello everyone. Updating my original review here, as promised, with the conclusion of the saga. Here are the simple honest facts of why you should quite obviously steer clear of using RD Appliance for appliance repair. There are also some things they should learn about the repair business as well.My double Thermador Wall Ovens lower oven wasnt heating. This has been the case for several months, but it wasnt a new problem. It was just one that hadnt popped up for a few years. It had been repaired before pretty easily, but obviously not inexpensive. I assumed that would be the case again. That previous work was done with another company (that I should have used instead clearly!)The upper oven has always been working fine. Lets remember that as we dive deeper.The technician acknowledges the upper is working and accesses the control board. Much later on, she mentions that the board began smoking and sparking when she accessed it.As a result, the entire appliance is dead with now a fully damaged control board.Heres the problem: RD says I now I have to pay over $1,330 for this repair for an oven that had been working prior to RDs arrival. It is the equivalent of taking your car into the shop for a rear brake job and now both axles broke and the entire braking system failed, rendering the car inoperable. And somehow this is my fault on my dime? RD should be embarrassed, apologize and reimburse me for their damages. The oven was working until they arrived and broke it completely. When I tried to talk this out with their office, I was only able to speak to their office manager and she hung up on me at the end. That aligns with their poor customer ********************** mantra.
