On 11/27 I bought a 2015 ford explorer from A and E auto for 5,283. On 11/29 I noticed it wasn’t driving right so on Monday 12/2 I took it to mechanic who told be back tires where dry rotted and mismatched, needs brakes and rotors,and bearing on control arm was bad,drivers door hinge rusted can’t use radio. They informed me they understand how it passed inspection. I have paperwork to prove. Called A and e 12/2 told him I want a refund and I was bringing car back, was told I had to wait for title to come. On the 12/10 I was told I could bring car back, I brought car back on 12/11 and was told they would only give me 3,500, I said I’ll give car to you and pick something else out, was told I could only get 2,500 for a trade in. Then I decided for them to just fix all the problem on car, was told to bring car on Monday 12/16. Called on 12/16 to see what time was good to come he said he will be out for the week. I had a friend call and ask if they could come see a car and he was available for them today and tomorrow so now I feel like I’m getting the run around.Business Response

I bought a vehicle from here the owner Abbas assured that everything was good with the vehicle as I spoke to him for awhile about this particular Vehicle and explained I was a single mother and I was about to spend all my income taxes on this vehicle from him! I go buy it from him and was back at his shop approximately 12 times within the first few weeks of buying it! When I test drove it there didn’t seem to be any problems with it! And then when I go back to actually purchase it it has a check engine light,air bag light, and tire pressure light! Abba promised he would fix all of these things and then as the weeks went on I was messaging him about the problems and he blocked me! He sold it to me with an illegal inspection! He has another car dealership local who is slapping these inspection stickers on without actually inspecting them! Now I’ve had the car for a few months now but when I first got it I explained a noise it was making and he assured me he’d fix it he never did he told me it wasn’t his problem! My car now today has check engine light,tire pressure light,abs light, air bag light and traction light! It needs sway bar links in the back and sway bar links! Also told him the transmission was slipping and he said he’d check it and never did! So he basically knew he sold me a lemon without a date in the world that I’m a single mother giving him so if my income taxes to have a reliable vehicle! Please help me I need compensation or he needs to fix this correctly this isn’t fair! $4800 for a car that’s not with $1000Business Response

I been doing this business for over 30 years and i never meet a customer so demanding and disrespectful her and her boyfriend both. under the 30 day warranty and even 2 weeks passed it i fixed all the problems and complaints she had about the vehicle I helped her out on the price fixed all the rust on the door fixed her ac and heat fixed the check engine light. i will not take disrespect from a customer that's why I blocked her and is she wants to handle this is court I would love to show a judge the nasty and disrespectful text message she was sending me. every car that we sell has to go through new York state inspection and is also put into the dmv system so i don't know what she is talking about people slapping inspections on cars but that's a lie. she was so rude and disrespectful attached is the things we did for her car for free and she did not want to sign the bottom of it.Initial Complaint

Hi, it the vehicle I brought from the dealership. Brought in 5/26/24 2009 ***** ******** Lt for 5934.00 cash. I want a refund they refused. My machacine was looking under my truck yesterday July 8th to try fix the 4x4 and they noticed a lots of patches on the body frame. They passed the inspection at their shop which it against law and lemon law. Not safe for our children’s to ride in too and please help me out thank youBusiness Response

hello sir I remember this customer he was deaf and came with his wife he drove 1 1/2 hours away we had a issue with the 4x4 not working we agreed for him to take it to his mechanic and get it fixed since he lived far away and we would pay for the repair. he looked under the car before making his decisions to buy the vehicle he seen under the car and drove it i also mention to his wife the frame is patch and i believe she explained to him as he is deaf and can't speak. after giving them there copy i told them i have to write patch frame on are copy since i already gave them there attached paper they said okay. there mechanic called us and started making it sound like the car is not safe which is not true and was very very rude on the phone here is a picture that are copy says patch frame.i also helped him on the price of the car as he drove away to come buy the car and was very intrested in the car.Initial Complaint

on February 29 2024 my father ***** ****** and myself ******* ****** went to A&E auto located at 423 W Service RD Binghamton NY 13901 after test driving a couple cars me and my father decided on the cars that we wanted, i got a 2014 ******** **** the owner informed me it needed a ball join and the o2 sensor to give him a couple days I picked up my ******** on Saturday after driving it i noticed the wheel was still making a noise. i called the dealership the next week to ask him about it and that my dads car also needed some minor things done he said to bring them in. they still needed to replace the ball joint but they were busy so call Monday next week. once the next week came he had my dad bring his car in first so at least one of us had a car if needed during this time i realized that none of the buttons on the steering wheel worked or the horn. I ended up taking my car in just before Easter weekend with the understanding the part would be in Thursday then the part would be in the fouling Tuesday then Thursday then it was the wrong part he said its a clock spring I need and its hard to find after another week it would be in on Wednesday i beleave it was about April 19 my dad took me down to see what exactly was going on he said he order the part it was wrong and they were waiting on a new one but the car was fine to drive that they fixed the ball joint and o2 sensor he would call me when the clock spring came in so i ended up taking it home on the way the wheel made the same sound and the light on the dash came on. after two weeks i called 2 before he answered and he said they fixed the ball join and sensor i also let him know that the clock spring being broken makes it dangerous to drive. he said that is not true and I should stop talking to my friends they are giving me bad advice and to bring it in Monday May 13 he will order the part and fix it as well as look at the ball joint free of chargeBusiness Response

we have told ******* that we ordered her a new clock spring for her car we ordered one before, but it was the wrong one she has been told and knows the situation and we agreed we would do the job free of charge.

I purchased a 2009 ***** ********* from the business. Less than a month later the vehicle had transmission problems. I called the business and was told to call back the following week to make an appointment to bring the vehicle in. I continued to call for said appointment to no avail. So, as a result I had to take the vehicle to a ***** dealer to find the issue and make appropriate repairs. The ***** dealer informed me that the transmission was full of engine coolant. I was also informed of a hole in the frame of the vehicle. I then went to the business to make a complaint about the unprofessional response to the vehicle issue, to which they gave a credit of $400.00 towards the vehicle payments. I now am having issues again with the transmission as well as not able to get the vehicle inspected due to the hole in the frame. which I believe to have been there from the start since I have had the vehicle 1 year on February 18th of 2024.Business Response

this is proof the customer was making payments every month with no issues no compliments . new York requires one month warranty and he had the car over 1 year and this is new York car used car as well. so I don't know what the customer is trying to say but its not tru
