    On 3/17/23, owner of Ace Handyman Service Nate C***** e-mailed my husband and I, and stated he would refund our $800 and reimburse us $900 for the amount we paid another company to fix Ace's faulty sump pump installation. Total amount Nate agreed to pay us is $1700. I've attached the e-mails exchanged. The last time we heard from Nate was 4/17/23, when he reiterated that he would be sending us a check, but it was a busy time of year and we needed to be patient. We followed up by twice calling Nate, once in May and another time in June. We were told by the person answering the phone that he wasn't available. We left him a message to please call us back, and he didn't either time. It's obvious that he's avoiding us and we feel he has no intention of making good on his word.

    other than the fact that it took the business 5 months to resolve it.
