    We had an HVAC system installed in our home in 2021. In February of 2023, the second floor HVAC system was no longer operational. I contacted True Mechanical to request a service call, they refused UNLESS we took out their $900 service contract. I agreed and remitted payment but, then had it explained that if there were any issues outside of their installation work, the contract would be null and void. I decided to cancel the contract and True refused to come to our home, even when offered COD.I contacted the manufacturer, *** who refused to service the system and said I must work with the installing contractor. At this juncture, I reached out to three separate ** certified contractors, they each came to our home and refused to work on the system, stating it was too complicated and they had concerns to "even touch it". It was also mentioned that this type of system should not even be in a residence, it was geared for commercial use. These service calls cost us almost $2,000.It became apparent that I was left only to try to work with True Mechanical for repair. I asked that they either provide a COD estimate or I will elect to take out their contract just to get them to come to my home. They now state they will not provide a COD estimate OR a contract.This system is less than 3 years old and has not worked in over a year. This is unacceptable, I have been living without heat or air conditioning. They obviously have no intention of being responsible to for the subpar work they performed and I cannot find an HVAC company willing to repair this system. I should not have to face paying for a whole new second floor system due to True Mechanical's incompetence. I hope no other consumer has to face this challenges.
