Hoopla is a service that supposedly offers cash back for online purchases. I signed up in 2024 and made many purchases with a cashback balance of $60.79. Hoopla's published terms indicate that they pay quarterly with the most recent payout on April 30, 2025, however I received nothing. When I contacted customer service they said that they only pay on transactions that are 90 days old, claiming I didn't have any at the time of payout. This is patently false as I met, was confirmed, and maintained the minimum required payout balance as early as Jan 2025, more than 100 days before payout. When I wrote back to customer service with meticulous records backing up my position, they stopped communicating. This seems to be a carbon copy scam of what other complainants have already logged on BBB against the company.Business Response

We pay our members quarterly, based on transactions in their account that have cleared 90 days. If you have transactions that have met this criteria, and your balance is above our minimum payment threshold, your cleared balance will be paid out at our next pay period.
In addition, please make sure your payment information is up to date in your account at all times. We wouldn't want you to miss out on your cash back. :)

i used Hoopla Doopla website to order xfinity services as they offered a cashback of $25. after reaching out multiple times and open service tickets and providing proof of purchase, they are not providing the cashback.Business Response

We replied back to the member telling them that the order was submitted to the merchant to be looked into, and that it could take some time to hear back, as they get lots of requests. The company is basically using terms and conditions to cheat customers. They said 4 to 6 weeks but its been 16 weeks but there is no cash back. They are scamming customers. Shame on them

In May 2023, I completed a stay with *********************** Hoopla Doopla offered cashback for Marriott stays, which amounted to $46.04. These earnings have been showing in my account since May 2023. According to their FAQ, the earnings were supposed to be paid after a 90-day waiting period. After this period, the earnings are to be paid in the next quarter, meaning the payment date should have been in the last quarter of 2023. It is now June 2024, and my earnings have not been paid yet. Hoopla Doopla claims they are waiting for the money from Marriott. This is contrary to their terms, which state that the earnings will be paid after a 90-day waiting period. I have repeatedly emailed them for an update and often receive sparse replies. Sometimes, I have to use an email address other than the official support one ********************************* to get a response. I completed the Magnifi cash back offer via Hoopla Doopla. I provided proof to Hoopla Doopla that I completed the offer. Hoopla Doopla advertised a payout of $50, however they haven't tracked or paid out anything. Hoopla Doopla is not cooperating because they won't reply to any of my emails which is unprofessional. The member opened a support ticket with us on this order that was not showing up in their account. We replied back to the member notifying them that the merchant, *******, was in fact contacted regarding the untracked order status. The reply also mentioned that the investigation can take some time to get a reply back from the merchant, as they can often experience high volumes of requests. The member was told that due to this, the response time is on the merchants end, not ours, and we will reply back with a status on the order once we hear from the merchant. Hoopla Doopla keeps claiming it's going to take more time. Hoopla Doopla does not reply to any emails when I ask for an update. I've never had this issue of no tracking of cash back after this much time with other cash back companies like Rakuten. Based off other complaints with the same issue, Hoopla Doopla operations seems to be a scam.

I placed an order with **** Club using the Hoopla shopping portal. The order qualifies for 5 percent cash back according to hooplas terms and conditions. The earnings were never paid. I have reached out to hoopla four times about this matter over the span of one month. The first time, I was told to reach back out if earning had not posted by the end of the week. When earnings did not post, I reached back out and received no response. I have reached out two more times since, both with no response. HooplaDoopla is a cash back website that is supposed to provide cash back for using a redirect link from their site to various merchants. I attempted to make a purchase at Magnifi, which HooplaDoopla was offering a $50 cash back for signing up to a monthly subscription when clicking the link through their website. Initially HooplaDoopla tracked the purchase on July 21, however the Magnifi purchase was a 7 day trial after which the monthly subscription would start. The $14 purchase for Magnifi did not get processed until July 29, by which point the purchase tracking on HooplaDoopla disappeared. I have attempted to contact HooplaDoopla support a couple times on this issue to no avail - they do not respond to support requests.Initial Complaint

The Hoopla Doopla website (*************************) offers users cash back on purchases through various online stores if the user clicks on a link on the ***************************************** website to make purchases from those stores.The website claims to offer "8.8% cash back on everything you buy" from a vendor named AliExpress (*****************************************).I made 3 orders on AliExpress through the Hoopla Doopla website on November 30, 2022 on AliExpress, for a total of $52.65 which are as follows:AliExpress Order: **************** $6.41 AliExpress Order **************** $2.20 AliExpress Order **************** $44.04 These 3 transactions were recorded on the Hoopla Doopla website, and I expected to receive 8.8% in cash back ($4.63), but my account was only credited ****% in cash back ($0.59).This is obviously not "8.8% cash back on everything you buy" and there is no FAQ or fine print that I can find on the Hoopla Doopla website to explain this discrepancy.
