    On Sunday, May 19. I attended a comedy show at this establishment. The service was horrific but yet when I got my bill a 18% tip was automatically put on the bill for two people! When I questioned and argued this. The server got arrogant and nasty with me and told me that it was written on the website. Then she changed her mind and she said it was written on my fundraiser ticket. In which both were incorrect! They would not take it off the bill! It's a scam. They are running there and they will not take the tip off the bill for patrons.. I being a server myself that work in a restaurant we are not allowed to put the tip on a bill unless it's for parties of 10 or more. This was just my husband and I and she refused to take the tip off. She did not deserve no tip she was beyond rude.

    At this time, I have been contacted directly by Mc Guires Comedy regarding complaint ID ********, however my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

    I spoke to ***** the owner himself. He claims putting the tip on the check is stated in the menu. Which I did not see. He apologized for my horrific experience at his place. And has promised me complimentary tickets and a refund on my credit card. This is been going on for over a month now and I check my credit card every day. And there is no refund issued. I've emailed them twice and called yesterday. No one is responding.

    we have responded to the complaint, and explained that a service charge is automatically added to the bill. this is posted all arounfd the venue.

    we have refunded the customer to their apparent satisfaction. Thanks
