I reached out to a couple of grooming places and Diesel Dog Grooming could get ****** in the quickest. Her appointment was on 3/7 but that morning I was told it had to be rescheduled to 3/11. I prepaid $120 as that was roughly the cost of service in the past. I dropped ****** off on that day and told them I wanted tassel ears, poms on the legs, and clean face and feet. Short all over. No one told me this groom would be too complicated, difficult, or it wouldn’t look good. I was told it would be about two hours. I was told to come get her 4.5 hours later. I did so and when taking her to the truck I immediately noticed her face didn’t look shaved at all. I tried to go back in and the door had already been locked. They did reopen it and shaved her face. I got home and her face was a mess. I took a video and reshaved it. Over the rest of the day I noticed her coat was dull and skin was flaky. This is abnormal. I realized it was due to the shampoo not being rinsed out correctly. I also noticed several other areas which were uneven and choppy in the groom. I then decided to reach out to Rachel via Facebook messenger. I was seeking a *partial* refund due to the inconvenience. Rachel only offered to rebathe her. My house to Diesel is 30 minutes away each way. I wasn’t going to drive that distance for simply a bath. Rachel became hostile when I stated what I was looking for. When I told her that I would submit a claim to Venmo if she wasn’t going to do a partial refund, she blocked me on messenger. Then she unblocked me when she saw I followed through. I didn’t want the drama so I blocked her. She then began text messaging me at 11pm. I included those messages as well. Again, I had no problem with ******’s groom being imperfect. It happens. Groomers have bad days. Dogs are unpredictable. I planned on using Rachel/Diesel again, continuing to recommend her, and had no issues as long as she made it right. And she did not. Instead she became rude, hostile, and aggressive.
