    At this time, I have been contacted directly by Woodlawn Cemetery regarding complaint ID ********, however my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

     I was contacted by Woodlawn Cemetary on 05/24/2024 at 1:21pm by telephone. The company apologized and promised to rectify the problem the following week, indicating that they would send some kind of correspondence to me. To this present time, I have not received any communication either by telephone or email.

These occurrences have made me quite suspicious of their business practices. I strongly feel that I am not the only victim.My account #***** : ID #***** and a number in red #*******.Your prompt and urgent attention is greatly appreciated in rectifying this ongoing and disturbing problem.

    The Woodlawn Cemetery appreciates the opportunity to respond to the issue raised by this complaint.  Woodlawn and its employees are committed to a high standard of excellence consistent with our 160-year tradition of exceptional service and care.  We strive to provide a positive customer service experience for every lot owner, their family members, and the many visitors to our beautiful grounds.  Of course, record keeping is very important to a business such as Woodlawn, as our records must be maintained in perpetuity.  As a result, the document-intensive exercise requires several different steps and double-checking to ensure that all actions are consistent with statutory and regulatory requirements.  In light of the issues raised by the complainant, Woodlawn expedited the process by sending you the requested Designation Affidavit on May 28th and followed up on June 11th,and again on June 20th and are awaiting the return of the completed transfer documents to complete your request.
