    The Cabana Hotel ******** ***************************************** was not what the review made it out to be. This hotel was nasty and dirty, missing smoke detectors: what if there was a fire, roaches, dark. It says no smoking or pets and there were both on the property, they also allowed marijuana smoking on the premises. This marijuana smoking was exposing us to this smoke and the ***** This is endangering kids which is against the law. This hotel is a ***** call hotel. Not for KIDS and it doesnt say that on the site, yet it says that on the window at the check-in. They rent rooms by the hour. Clean towels and washcloths were hard to get. We could not get a refund, they did change us to another room, but it was not up to par, there was a large gap around the A/C Unit, no towel rack, the shower was broke, eyelashes stuck to one of the headboards etc. Plenty of other things are wrong. We paid for two rooms that were like this. SAD Date of stay July 5th thru July 10th, 2023

    I booked a room for May 20 to the 21st of May. Which was one night. I book the hotel for my boyfriend, my 10 year old daughter and I. So I asked for a double bed. We arrived around 3:20 to the hotel. I parked my vehicle in the garage which smelled like f**** I go to the window to check in and the receptionist ask me how many hours I informed her that I made a reservation online with booking.com. I entered our room and it was disgusting. The bathroom didnt have any curtains and the metal shower rod was in the tub. The main door didnt have a lock so we could lock it inside. I asked for another room and it was even worse. There was blood stains on the wall, rust in the shower, broken bathroom door, no light fixtures, stains on the walls, again no locks on the door, smell of cigarettes and a broken bed. I informed the receptionist that I would like a refund she informed me that she wasnt authorized since I made the reservation online. I called booking.com and they informed me that they will write an email to the manager so they can approve my refund. Everyday I been calling and they are ignoring our emails. I was not aware that this was a *** hotel and was not comfortable staying in the hotel with my 10 year old daughter and with all the rust and dirty bathroom. I informed the receptionist that we will be leaving and not staying in the hotel. I called the next day to make sure she checked me out and they werent able to find me in the system since I never signed any forms or received any receipt. The cabana hotel hasnt done anything to make the situation right and since I didnt stay I would like my refund back of ******. I complaint two times and they werent able to fix the problem.
