    I am submitting this complaint regarding CKO Kickboxing gym located in ***********, ******** due to their refusal to allow me to cancel my membership despite multiple attempts. I have followed their stated cancellation procedures, including calling then going to the gym. When I called, the staff informs me I can do it over phone but I have to pay a cancellation fee. However, those fees can be avoided if I go in person. The first time I go, the gym is closed. The second time, the staff told me they could not do it in person so the owner would reach out to me. After following up when no one reached me, I was informed yet again that I had to go in person. The gym is open during hours where I am at work. And it would take me a long time to commute to the gym. I informed them that I have moved and that was the reason why I needed to cancel as it is no longer convenient for me to go to that location. I alternate from working in *********, ******** and ************, ** This has been going on for months. After I expressed my frustration about how I feel like I have no other choice but to contact corporate, attorney general and the BBB because they would not let me cancel my contract. They threatened me. This has caused unnecessary stress and ongoing charges for a service I no longer wish to use. I am requesting immediate cancellation of my membership and a refund for any charges incurred after my initial cancellation request.
