From pickup to delivery my move with Shleppers exceeded my expectations. I'm not easy to please but I was impressed with their service. The Senior Relocation Consultant took his time to explain every detail and completed a comprehensive inventory of my moving items. All my questions were answered. The office coordinator was very responsive. As for the actual movers, they worked very hard to ensure my items were wrapped and handled with care. They were very efficient tagging each item and kept moving until the job was completed. The company was flexible with the dates for my long distance move and picked up and delivered on time. The cost of the move was reasonable and the agreed price honored. No "song and dance" as I've heard other companies do. I selected Shleppers based mostly on a referral from one of their recent customers and additionally by reading their reviews. They certainly did right by me and I would use their services again if needed. Great team for your move.

I was very impressed. Scheduling it was very easy and convenient. I was able to show what needed to be moved using a video chat rather than waiting to have someone come over. Shleppers sent several emails to remind and confirm about the upcoming move, including advice about packing. The movers came on time and were well prepared with extra boxes, tape, and anything else needed. They were very efficient in wrapping furniture and moving boxes out. The man they had packing boxes into the truck must be a Tetris master because he managed to fit our entire apartment plus a storage unit into the truck, filling it right to the brim. Everything was solidly tied down so it wouldn't shift or break. When it came time to unload, they were again very efficient, very concerned about making sure everything went to the right place and reassembling all of the furniture. The lead mover also was very considerate about figuring out good configurations for furniture - they didn't just pile it into a corner, helter skelter. They picked up all of the trash before they left. I was never worried that they would break or steal anything. They worked well as a team and were very friendly.Shleppers Moving & Storage

These guys moved me two years ago and I called them back for this move b/c they did such a great job last time. ***** and his team work fast, efficiently and go the extra mile to make sure things are done correctly. Also their call center and sales people are very responsive and helpful. Highly recommend.Shleppers Moving & Storage

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! My family made a move from ********** to *****. It has been a nightmare from the moment they picked up our things in ********** on July 11 ( It is now August 9, and we still haven't received our items! Let's start with the pick-up, The movers came and we went over our inventory that we discussed previously before setting up the move. We originally told them 25 boxes and some other items from our home. We were quoted a price. We originally thought we would have 25 boxes but we only had 11 and we added an extra item,,, a mirror, stand, and my son's ukelele. At the end the movers added additional charges stating that we went over. I didn't quite understand being that we didn't have the amount of boxes that we originally stated. After arguing with him and getting my husband on the phone he agreed to give us a "discount". We were told that we needed to pay half of the movement fee at that time and the other half when they delivered our items to ***** ( that was a lie) we were then asked when was the first date we will be available for delivery. We told them June 19. June 19 comes, we don't have our things...we call and was told that in our contract it states they have 14 business days to deliver our things from the the time we stated we were available for delivery. So that put us at August 8 for delivery. August 1 we get a call requesting that we pay the other half of our movement fee before delivery. We were told previously that we will pay when our things were delivered. At this moment we are livid , we are in another state and all of our things are still in **********. So we went ahead and paid the rest of the delivery fee because we were afraid if we didn't they wouldn't deliver our things. So the fee is paid, a couple of days later my husband receives a text from the driver stating that they were in ********, ***** and the truck broke down!!!!. This is unbelievable. So now it's August 9 we have No idea where our things areShleppers Moving & Storage

This is my third time using Shleppers over the past twelve years. I come back to them because of their pricing and their service. It's easy to get in touch with an agent who will walk you through the details of your move. Supply them with a list of what needs to be moved and you will be given a price quote. This is one of the main reasons I like them: the quote is set (unless you make changes to what you are moving), and it is NOT hourly. So the movers have no incentive to drag things out. In my experience, Shleppers' movers have always been fast and efficient. Example: I had a huge desk that took three guys taking the door off of my apartment to get it inside and which wouldn't fit into elevators. During my recent move, the lead guy, ***** looked at it, figured out that it could be taken apart into three pieces (I had no idea) and was able to get it out of the apartment and into the elevators with no problem. Everything was put back together smoothly and efficiently. Moving is stressful enough. With Shleppers at least you know that you're going to get a team of skilled movers and no surprise bills at the end.Shleppers Moving & Storage

Wow! We moved from Brooklyn to **********, and Shleppers made it as seamless as possible! Our movers came the day prior (on time) to the move and packed our 2 bedroom apt in only a few hours. The same movers (which we appreciated for continuity) came the following day (on time) and efficiently moved us out and into our home. They were friendly, respectful of our belongings and professional. We were absolutely dreading moving with a baby, and Shleppers eased so much of our moving anxiety and stress!Shleppers Moving & Storage
