    My car radio was working intermittently. Proline took out the radio and amplifier to have it sent somewhere to be checked. I was told that the radio was fine and that the amplifier was either fixed or replaced. The problem started again, 1 day after I got my car back. I took it back to proline many times and finally I was told that they could not help me and that it was perhaps my radio that was now faulty. The screen was off and it was confirmed by a Lexus dealer that the radio was bad. Ive bought a new radio and I am still not getting any sound in the car. What exactly did proline claim to have fixed or swapped?

    ** ************* ,  hired our service to remove repair and reinstall, his bad factory amp which was damaged from his visit to a Lexus dealership.  We upon nys requirement gave ** *** a quote on cost of sending defective amp to get repaired .  Upon his ok to send amp out for repair he is aware there is a 30day limited warranty on repair items .    We reinstalled his amp and he had sound and car working  for a few days . ** *** called and said he car radio is was not working correctly and he lost sound. Our shop scheduled him in and on 3 attempts showed him. The dealership had damaged more than just his amplifier  and process of electrical elimination he had to have the 1 of 3. Items check 1 amp 2. Factory Lexus wires 3. The car radio main controller 

     

    as we have advised ** ****  There was not much we can do after repairing the amp as amp board was replaced and working . The additional Check of wires and radio equipment that was made by Lexus is something we cant service .      This transaction ** *** made was done in July 10 of 2023.  And is well out of warranty period or refund policy  

     

    as we have said to ** ****   Very nice guy  our sales team and installation team.  Has spent more time and exhausted  every option to help ** ***  even. Calling dealer ship to help assist and we pointed issues back to *********** and wires.     Please let it be noted we have never charged him any extra work hours trying to help assist with his issues caused by ***** after they shorted his car out by  incorrectly charging battery

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ********, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

     




    I brought my car in to have my radio repaired. I am not an audio technician and took a chance with your business. You mentioned what the problem was and i trusted your expertise in fixing my radio, not for it to only work for a few days. Ive been there several times after the issue where employees always mention that only a gentleman named chef can help me on the issue. 


    It is irrelevant to mention Lexus or anything dealer related. I brought you my car to fix and you charged me to fix the car stating that you sent my amplifier out to be fixed. You sent out both my radio and amplifier to be checked at a 3rd party audio company. There is a warranty sticker on both items. I have reached out to the company and have information from the company that the units were only tested and NEVER repaired. This makes your response inconsistent. Please provide proof that the amplifier was repaired. After no sound, I took the car to a different shop and was told otherwise.

    The customer has multiple issues with car in question . The labor and parts paid for have been delivered .   Customer has additional issues that is not part of the scope of work completed by our shop.  We have no further actions on our part as we delivered work that was done on our end . Customer is aware what was done how it was done and knows he had additional issues not pertaining to work we have provided .
