      The owner of the company (*****************************) came to my house to view where the installation of the awning I wanted would be. He sold me the awning. Collected a check deposit ($2740.00) and gave me a contract that said it would be completed in 4-5 weeks. Its been over two months. The seller is ignoring my calls and texts and is essentially ghosting me. I have reached out multiple times to try and get a resolution with no answer from the other side.

      On the evening of 7/27/22, I, ************************************* made an agreement by the name RIGHT WAY ** to install a Polycarbonate awning. A person by the name of ***** from RIGHT WAY CO. visited my residence at 5:30pm to take the measurement for this awning. After some negotiation, I agreed to pay him $1600.00 to install the Polycarbonate awning. He told me that if I want the job to be done faster he would need a deposit of $800.00 in cash. ***** seems to be a gentlemen at the time and I gave him $800.00 in cash in the presence of a Home Health Aid ,*********************, present at the house that time. ***** counted the eight one hundred dollar bills and signed the contract and gave me the yellow copy of the contract. He was in such a rush that he did not allow me to read the whole contact. He left behind his ring of fabric samples. When I looked at the contract, it did not list the word polycarbonate awning. I decided to cancel the contract and called ***** and also Text him at 9:33pm on 7/27/22, (after four hours of signing the contract on 7/27/22) to cancel the contract. He text me back that it will be his pleasure to not work with me. Since that day, I have been texting and calling ***** to return my deposit of $800.00 but I did not get my deposit back. Please help me.

      We signed a contract with Right Way on 3/21/2022 for the order of a 20' Sunbrella (by Sunsetter) awning.After almost a month we followed up several times with a ******************* regarding an installation date. An installation finally happened on 5/12/2022. Several days after install, my wife noticed that the awning is not completely secured against the house. We called ***** several times to inform him that his install team needs to return to secure the 20 foot awning to avoid any injury. He asked that we give him a few days to get his team back to correct the issue. After repeated phone calls, it has now been several months, and ***** continues to insist that we are too far for his guys to make a trip just to correct the issue. We have not used the awning for safety reasons. This awning is 20 feet wide and extends 10 feet - if this thing falls someone is going to get seriously hurt. Since we didn't hear from *****, and we ordered a SUNBRELLA with 10-year manufacturer warranty, we decided to reach out to SUNSETTER directly to see if they can correct the issue. We reach out to the maker of the awning, SUNSETTER; it now turns out we have a bigger issue. We paid for a SUNSETTER/SUNBRELLA product, but that is NOT what is installed. According to *********, while the item may resemble a Sunbrella item. It has been discovered that it is not an authentic Sunbrella awning. A representative of SUNSETTER asked that I contact BBB and that they will provide a written statement acknowledging that the item is not theirs. It is manufactured by another company called SUNPRO. We are very upset to have been deceived. We paid for a SUNBRELLA awning - the receipt on hand clearly states that. Yet another product has been installed, and at that, incorrectly. We are seeking the removal of this SUNPRO awning (since it's not what we order, nor installed correctly) and replaced with the SUNBRELLA item we ordered and paid $4,950.00 for.
