I ordered 1 watch battery from the The Battery Supplier store for ****, but my card was charged twice by this company. Once for **** and again for **** (I do not owe the ****). I purchased batteries and upon delivery, found they expired in May of 2023. I complained and received a call 9am today to process the refund. I found it odd that they requested such details: Name, Address, email, CC details. I asked why it was needed as these credentials were used to make the purchase. They said something about a gift as a 1st-time buyer and suddenly I saw a fraud alert for a $74.38 purchase from ****************** ****************. I asked them about this and he encouraged me to reply "YES" for the next text. I refused and hung up. They called back immediately and I refused the call. I made a $6.99 purchase and under the guise of a "refund", they charged my credit card ~ $78. I had to dispute the charge, cancel my credit card, and go through distress. This company should be reported to law enforcement.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ********, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:I believe this organization is part of a scam.
I'm thankful the company finally refunded the purchase price. The concern lies with this company, or a service they use for customer service. To repeat, when I called the company for a refund, I was pressured to provide my complete address, credit card information. I protested by stating this information should already be available from my original order. I was assured by the individual that the requested information was needed to ensure the refund. Along with my refund, they promised a "gift", for which they charged my credit card ~ $78. I had to dispute the charge through my credit card, cancel my credit card, and go through distress. This company should be reported to law enforcement for fraud.

The merchant is a 3rd party seller on **********. On Monday, November 21, 2022, I responded to the merchant's offering on ********** for a count of 26 packages of Maxell brand batteries. Each package (a count of 1) contains 3 batteries. To summarize, I purchased a count of 26 (26 packages, each package containing 3 batteries), which equals a total of 78 batteries.I regularly record the listing for follow-up, if necessary, in the event of a disastrous transaction like this is.My documentation, which will be uploaded with this complaint, clearly shows that this merchant offered a count of 26 (26 packages, each with 3 batteries), for $2.60.This merchant shipped a count of one (1) - 3 batteries total.Following ********** protocol, text messaging with details, and document also affixed, was sent to the merchant two (2) times. I ordered batteries through Amazon, the batteries came from My Battery Supplier. They were advertised as replacing the batteries I needed. I received them and they were larger. I contacted Amazon and they contacted my battery supplier who agreed to refund my money. They emailed me a label to print out and mail back to them for my refund. I contacted Amazon and informed them I DID NOT HAVE A PRINTER. I was told one would be mailed to me. I waited and never received one, called back 7 days later and told them and was again told one would be mailed to me. Waited and didnt receive it again. I once again called Amazon and they contacted my battery supplier and then told me one would be sent to me. I was also told I could receive a QR code and take it to the post office and they would print a label for me. I was told I would receive it within ***** hours. Once again nothing. I called Amazon and was told they would file an A-Z guarantee policy for me and I receive my refund with in 7 days. On day 4 I receive an email from Amazon saying my battery supplier emailed me another label I could print and mail back. I called again stating I DO NOT HAVE A PRINTER! They said they can request one for me for $1. Why do I have to pay to return something that they advertised as replacing the one I needed and it didnt. I already sent them a picture of the batteries they sent me and the one I wanted to replace. I told Amazon I want the A-Z guarantee they said I qualified for they are going to look into it once again. I have been dealing with this for weeks. I just want a refund, which I was told I could have, but we just keep going through the same thing over and over again. They were sending me a label through the mail 4 times and I never received one, they were sending a QR code and I never received that. I believe Ive been patient enough, I sent the picture when requested, Ive done all that was asked and just get the run around. I just want a refund.Business Response
