    Sunday, January 19th 2025 I had booked with Ace after being referred to her work via Tik Tok. I booked curve stitch braids for Friday, January 24th 2025 which required a $100 deposit, which is already a high percentage deposit given the $265 hairstyle. However, I had attempted to reschedule a few hours after booking, needing to reschedule Friday, January 31st, 2025. I noticed that I could not do that via the website so I had messaged Ace in hopes of changing that. She had then told me she does not do rescheduling, with reasoning being that people have not showed up before. To make matters worse, my $100 deposit would NOT be returned to me or honored UNLESS I paid her an additional $100 to REBOOK. In most customer service businesses you are able to get refunded and or reschedule unless you have afflicted the business, I.E being late, or cancelling last minute.1. The deposit was paid via zelle, making it unable for me to get refunded via claim. 2. Paying $200 for a deposit and not honoring what was already paid is unethical. 3. She kept $100 of money only as a POTENTIAL first time client without me receiving any type of service, then offering a rebook with an additional deposit of another $100 instead of a reschedule. This is completely unethical, regardless of policy. Having a zero refund policy AND no rescheduling creates a scam-like environment for people to lose out on money because of her high deposit price point. If the deposit prices were lower, IE $25, $50, even $75 that would be understandable. However *** has decided to pocket $100 of my money regardless of this being my first time booking with her, and continued to stand by not rescheduling or refunding me even though she had a choice to rectify this situation. I am extremely outraged at this absurd business policy and horrible customer ********** rectify this matter, I would like to be refunded my $100 and her policies to be under review, I am certain other people have been victims of this as well.
