      On 9/1/2023 we hired Bay Ridge ****************** to provide our Company with a competent person and Superintendent. We paid a $5000 and a $3500 retainer. On 9/3 the competent person, ************************* stated to us that he was NO longer working with this company and if we wanted to keep him on site, we can pay him directly. from 9/3 - 1/15/2024 we paid the competent person directly and informed Bay Ridge Consulting we will no longer be using their company for the competent person. We continued to use Bay Ridge Consulting for our Superintendent. On 1/3 we the superintendent closed the job and ************** the owner of the company confirmed that he would refund $4100 of our retainer for the super with a balance of $300 for the last 2 days the super worked. On 1/15 he sent an email saying that he is keeping the retainer for the super to use it for a balance that we owe him for the competent person as well as our retainter for the competent person.We have proof of payment of the competent person as well as a written statement stating that the competent person told us he was no longer employed by Bay Ridge Consultant.They are trying to keep our $8500 retainer illegally and refuse to refund or answer the phone,
