    12/1 my 7yo twins+I went to MSG, 7min. walk from hotel. At 11PM, walk & asked tricycle cab to take us to hotel He started & mention can take us to Christmas tree, isnt too far I said OK NY uber rides: $42.49/38m to $54.83/56m Taking a while I asked when will we arrive; he answrd "not too far, be there soon" never mention how long Stop at ************ I didnt asked. Took pictures of us with his phone Son said was cold (not dressed for December ** night) I asked driver go hotel straight; say if he had told me it was that far, we wont have taken the added ride. he showed me a tree; told him again all I wanted was hotel asap Arrived at different hotel than asked; took 10min. to ours Kids sleeping he said "take them to room you pay after"He asked if I can pay cash or paypal. Told him CC Said he can't, his boss to process CC Asked again are you sure you do not have cash or paypal?I confirm CC Only then said ride cost: 55min. for $492 I said when asked go to hotel I was expecting 2-3min. ride, then he proposed Christmas tree not far away, WO mentioning that it would take 1 hour He said cost/min. written on bike's side, if you had specifically asked me the time it would take to tree, I would have told you. So you must pay my billHe said if I didnt pay bill I'll have lots of problem with the law that will cost me lot of money and can be a bad offense with repercussions I said call the policeHe said many clients goes on long rides; I told him he fool people and do this trick over again Police arrived; I stated I was willing to pay for what I asked, not the long extra ride I got lured to. Officer ******* NYPD number ***** said tricab drivers play borderline, catch people by surprise/take detour to charge more; driver agree at 379.5$ I paid to get out of trap Officer suggested I bring issue to CC ****************************** bureau Driver boss arrived; they asked again to pay cash or paypal; I confirmed CC he said because of CC he'll add a ** tax, so total be 425$ instead 379
