    I hired Dawn General Contractor Inc. aka Dawn Restoration to put on a new roof in Sept. 2021 and the work was completed in Nov. 2021. We told them that the skylight was broken from the dismantling or putting on the new roof. The owner came out in December 2021, measured and stated that he ordered the skylight. He claimed in February 2022 that he will fix the skylight that was mere words. Since it is an attached house, the wall between the attach house was leaking in Feb. 2022 because they did not seal it, the tenant apt was leaking so after many days of calling and texting they came and fixed it. I have been telling them from 2022 that the water is gathering on the rooftop and not running off, they said they were coming to look at it. They came without the tools to go on the rooftop and promise to come out again, mere words. I sent my uncle on the rooftop to take pictures of the water and I sent it to the owner. He was supposed to come out today, February 16, 2023, another mere words. He told me that I have a leak warranty and I must call him when the roof is leaking. Water stops on most roof in ********. When he was collecting and cashing the check for $24,500 there was no problem. All I ask this company to do is for them to come and check the brand-new roof to see why the water is gathering and fix the skylight that his men damaged. The owner only makes promised to come and no show. He does not value his customers after he collected their money. I used the company to do a stucco job, so I trusted them, and they are a disappointment. They are not honorable people. Their words are useless to customers. Be aware of Dawn General Contractor, *** aka Dawn Restoration.

    Better Business Bureau:

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me and the matter has been resolved.  The business owner came out to hose down the roof to ensure that there was no leak. Even though the skylight is not fix as yet, and I have a few concerns regarding the water gathering, the owner promised to fix any leaks per the warranty.

    They did a horrible, sloppy job on my garage, which ended up causing much more severe damage. I have a brand new garage roof, they were sloppy with repairs and did not secure the gutter and now I am left with a mess and $100,000 worth of repair. They said they would come look at it, but then just ignored me and then refused to do so.
