    I purchased a ticket to an event from Mischief Management in December of 2022, event was October 2023. In October 2023, a letter was sent asking for a partial refund of ticket price for the highest tickets, of which I had one, of $600. They approved that refund request. In December 2023, they sent out an email saying the refund was processing, but I also had a dispute open with my credit card company for the full amount. The other people that were promised the refund got theirs in less than 7 days. I never got mine, so I emailed them asking about it. They said I had to close my dispute because they couldn't process my $600 while that was open. I did immediately, on 2 January 2024. I still have not received that refund. I emailed multiple times, most of those emails have been ignored and no responses. In February of 2024, they said their records showed it was resolved in my favor and I could fi nd it on my credit card statements. I sent them screenshots proving that I withdrew my dispute for the full amount and my credit card statements showing that I never got the $600. On the 4th of the this month (March 2024), I still have not received it and had to reopen a dispute with my credit card company for the $600. I informed Mischief Management that this appears to be them holding my money hostage and failure to deliver on a promise, that I have in writing, for a $600 partial refund for my ticket to the event and also retaliatory. I also informed them I would be fi ling with the *** and BBB for their failure to follow through on the promised refund. As of the submission of this complaint, I am still waiting for my refund. The tickets are processed for Mischief Management through ShowClix. The event in October ********************************************* ******, *****.

    Thank you for reaching out about this complaint. According to the order notes on Showclix and the documentation, our ticketing processor, a refund request for the $600 was submitted for processing on November 30, 2023. On December 12, 2023, a chargeback request for $1347.50 was submitted. Because the $600 refund had not completed processing at this time, the chargeback request took precedence, and the refund request was paused.

    On December 2, 2023, the chargeback was lost and a settlement of $1347.50 was applied to the order by Showclix. This transaction can also be seen on page 14 of the customers documentation (Transaction titled ******* *********** *********** * *** * ********). Because the total amount of the order was repaid, the outstanding $600 refund was rejected on January 2, 2024. 

    Additionally, as of January 1, 2024, the Mischief Management **************** team is no longer actively monitoring the ********************* email inbox, as our contract for the event came to a close.

    This company scammed people into buying tickets to an event and then bait and switched the buys. They promised material swag and than provide plastic bags with plastic cups. The entire thing probably totaled 5$ at most. They promised exclusive meet and greets and panels which were never provided, they promised photo ops which were never offered. Then there was the event, they present a toxic and unsafe environment for not only the talent but the attendees. I personally witnessed the owner of this company yell at the employees of the talent. It was a disaster. On top of everything, they refuse to provide any compensation, to the attendees since the hired talent was unable to continue their set due to unsafe and toxic environments.
