I am disputing total $8,000 which I paid on April 15, May 1, and May 25, 2022 for a sales commission. I was told that I have to pay for the live presentation fee aka final buyer meetings fee so I can move forward with the retail buyers who invited me to meet and discuss the sales of my products. I had previous asked to pay for a membership fee $1,550 for the sales to find me buyers who want to move forward to purchase. The live presentation fee I agreed to pay as a commission as the sales told me only 1% of brand get invited to meeting and I must pay for a commission before having the meeting with retail buyers in order to close the sales.I was contacted by the sales company ADIT (Beauty independent) that is a deceptive and misleading sales company that made me believe I would sell my products into the retail store but when the decision came back, I did not get sold to the store as ADIT misled and promised me. After I realized this was a deception to get me to pay commission up front, I immediately asked for a cancellation of the meeting as well as refund for meeting I already paid. The company ADIT refused to refund me.A commission should never be charged if the sales did not got through. They put on their ***************** that they can't guarantee 100 percent but they reassure me that majority of the brands they represented that will be sold to store if they are invited to the live presentation meeting and I will certainly get in. This is a case of breach of contract and/or deceptive sales technique which maybe a fraud federal penalty type crime. They breached the contract, that they misrepresented the information to me, and that they were unjustly enriched. They didn't perform some part of the agreement, they get me in front of the retailer that was not a good fit and did not match the attributes of my brand, their goal was to get me to pay for the presentation fee regardless I would never be sold into the retailers. In this case, it is fraud.
