    I am filing this complaint regarding Durumi located at *************************************, over a dispute concerning a canceled appointment and an unresolved refund.On July 1, 2024, I booked an appointment with Durumi (**** ***) for eyeliner tattoo services scheduled for August 8, 2024. I paid a $209 deposit to secure the appointment. Shortly afterward, I received a medical diagnosis that caused me to reconsider proceeding with the procedure. Due to the personal and sensitive nature of my condition, I initially felt uncomfortable disclosing details but contacted the business to request a cancellation or rescheduling.The business owner denied my request, emphasizing the impact on their small business. Under pressure and guilt, I reluctantly agreed to proceed with a credit or a different service. However, as my condition worsened, I decided to cancel entirely to avoid any potential risks to my health. I again requested a refund, which was denied.I later filed a dispute with my bank, hoping to resolve the matter without further conflict. The merchant rejected the dispute, citing their policy of offering credit valid for one year. Despite repeated attempts to follow up, the business has since stopped responding to my emails and has effectively blocked further communication.I contacted my bank again, and they informed me that the business owners request for a confirmation letter about the release of funds was invalid. Despite this clarification, I have not received my refund, nor any confirmation of credit availability.This experience has been emotionally and financially draining. The merchants refusal to engage professionally, coupled with their lack of flexibility despite my medical circumstances, has left me feeling mistreated.I am requesting the Better Business Bureaus assistance in securing a resolution. I would like a refund of the $209 deposit.
