    Last week on January 29, 2024 i purchased halogen light bulbs from Doody and when i got home i saw they were broken. i went back to exchange them, and the workers as well as the store manager were incredibly rude to me. They accused me of not opening the package incorrectly or not reading the instructions, but i am an engineer and know perfectly well how to work with these light bulbs. Besides being rude, Doody refused to exchange my purchase. I am looking for an apology and a change in the service the store provides. I am attaching the receipt with a photograph of the broken bulb.

    At this time, I have been contacted directly by John J. Doody and Son Inc. regarding complaint ID ********, however my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

    [Your Answer Here] Doody contacted me to provide an exchange however there was no apology offered or acknowledgment of unprofessional or rude behavior. So far I am not satisfied with this response and continued rude behavior.

    To Whom It May ****************** proper management of a customer complaint it to address the reason of the complaint. 

    The customer wanted to return the halogen bulb.  He brought it to our store, our staff told him he could not return it because it was opened.

    As the Business Manager, I answered and arranged for the customer to come to the store and perform an exchange for a new bulb.

    It seems the customer is not satisfied with this.  It seems his concern is for an apology more than a return.

    I apologize.
