      Galil Management LLC has failed to return my security deposit over 90 days past the termination of my lease and the vacating of the apartment. I have received zero documentation as to why any of the full security deposit amount should have been withheld, and was told there were no issues when I vacated the apartment. I vacated the apartment on May 19th, 2023 (when my final inspection was completed) and my lease ended on June 1st, 2023. I first contacted the building manager, ********************* via email on Tuesday July 18th, when I had not received any word on my security deposit return. I called the Galil Management office the same day, and was told by his assistant that **** would get back to me. He emailed me the same day, saying he contacted someone from the leasing department and they would get back to me soon. I emailed **** and *************************** from the leasing department again on August 28th, 2023, stating I still had not heard from the leasing department about my security deposit return. *************************** replied the same day and asked for my forwarding address, which I provided the same day via email. I emailed **** and **** one more time on September 19th, 2023, expressing my frustration and that I had still not received my security deposit in the mail. I informed them at 12:59pm via email that if I did not hear from them by the end of the day, I would file a claim with the New York ************************* and a complaint. I received no response before 5pm.
