    Leaf Medical wrote me to inform me that my insurance provider has denied my claim because the provider thinks I might have other insurance that could cover the claim. I have informed my insurance provider, numerous times that I do not have any other insurance providers. I have informed Leaf Medical that I do not have any other insurance providers than the one that I have shared with them. Despite this, Leaf Medical is presenting me with bills as if I had no insurance, which is not the case; writing to me as if I have no insurance, which I have, which Leaf Medical is aware of, even though their standardized billing letter ignores this fact. This practice on the part of insurance providers is in my opinion a fraudulent practice. It is doubly fraudulent of Leaf Medical to ignore the insurance I do have and treat the case as if I were uninsured when they state that they do know that I have insurance. I hope your organization can have some impact on these fraudulent practices.Thank you for your time and consideration,*********************** *********************

    Aetna denied our claim for services rendered on 11/29/2022 stating that additional information was required from the patient and that another insurance carrier is responsible for payment. During the time the patient was contacted, they had not yet provided the update to Aetna. After our encouragement, the patient was finally able to update *****, and the claim was reprocessed under the patient's in-network benefits. The patient now has a $21.86 in-network deductible balance. There was absolutely zero wrong-doing on our part. Please let us know if you require any additional information.
