    On 08/26/21 my son ******************************* and I met with ********************* to discuss the installation of 2 railings on my stoop. Agreement as follows: install 2 railings-(1 on each side of stoop using white primer and white paint). Total cost $1600, $800 deposit and $800 at completion. ***************** began work the following Monday and completed work on the same day. He constructed the railings from wrought iron on my walkway, even after I asked him not to. The heat from the welding damaged the walkway, as seen in the picture provided. When I questioned him, he stated, its always done this way to ensure accuracy. He began work later in the day and ended near dark causing him to rush the job. After putting pieces of the railing together, he began to spray paint it with white primer and completed with white paint. At the end of the day the job looked fairly decent, so he was paid the remaining $800 balance as promised. The next day rust began to show on practically all parts of the railing. My son called ***************** to complain about the job. ***************** said his car wasnt working and that he would come soon. Approximately 2 weeks later he was called again and gave the same excuse. Each time it rained the rust worsened and eventually it looked like he never primed the railing. I had my stoop redone right before this and the rust from the rails is now all over it, as seen in the pictures provided. Because it was getting dark, ***************** rushed the job. He used primer but didnt give it enough time to dry before applying the white paint. ***************** has not returned our calls as of todays date. I want him to return and fix my railing and walkway. I feel that I am due some type of compensation from him as *** dealt with this for a year. I also want people to be aware of his unprofessionalism. He was paid in full and didn't have the decency to return our calls or to follow through with completing the poorly done job. ********************************
