    I gave my instrument to Main Drag Music to sell for consignment on June 7th 2024. They put the product up for sale for $2995, with $2246.25 owed to me once the product sold. Sometime in December of last year or January of this year, the product sold and I was not notified. After noticing on February that the product was taken down from their website, I emailed the store asking if it had sold. They apologized for not telling me that it had sold weeks ago, and told me they would send the money very soon. Three months later, I have yet receive the money I am owed.

    In December 2021, I gave a vintage guitar to Main Drag Music on consignment. The agreement (in writing) was that I would receive 75% of the sale of the guitar, which was going to be sold for $450. Over the next 23 months, I contacted Main Drag Music multiple times by email and phone to find out the status of my guitar. I was either completely ignored, or sent short responses such as, "We are just getting on top of our paperwork, we will be in touch soon." In November, 2023, I finally got *******************, owner, on the phone, who told me that my guitar had been sold some time ago. To make up for having not contacted or paid me in a timely manner, he agreed (in writing) to give me $350 plus a $100 gift card to his store. He has still not paid me in late January 2024 - he promised to send a check in November, then told me he could pay by ***** the following week, and neither thing happened. He will not return any of my phone calls or emails at this point. I am requesting the $450 in full, no gift card, in order that I not have to have any more interactions or business with him and to compensate me for the extreme delay in delivery of payment. Yelp reviews indicate that this is not the first time he has stolen music equipment through selling on consignment and refusing to pay the owner - there are at least two other reported instances.
