On or about August 29, 2024, I purchased a gravity blanket directly from the Gravity Blanket website. My order number was GV324624. I paid $100.68 USD for my 15-pound weighted blanket. The blanket made it difficult to sleep, so I submitted a return request on September 24, 2024. I was instructed to return the item by October 22, 2024 and was advised there would be a $25 restocking fee. On October 9 and 15, 2024, I contacted the company via email using the customer service email they provided with a question about the return procedure. Gravity Blankets never responded to my two emails. Based on the companys lack of response, but also my concern about the return window ending, on October 21, 2024, my mother submitted my Gravity Blanket return to the post office and received a tracking number. The tracking number provided that my return was delivered and accepted by reception on October 29, 2024, at 12:08 pm. I followed up with the company four times via email at ********************************** to inquire about the status of my return. Those four dates were: December 10, 2024; December 20, 2024; January 19, 2025; and April 20, 2025. I am seeking a $75.68 refund, which comprises the $100.68 I paid for the weighted blanket, reduced by $25 for the restocking fee.Customer Answer

Order date of 1/1/2025 for gravity blanket. Seek return (wife didn't like it). Followed the steps provided on Gravity website. Followed up via email (multiple times) with no answer at all. I ordered this for a Christmas present. It turned out to be too heavy for the recipient to manage and tried to return it within the 30 period, however, the website ran me around in circles to no avail and there are no legitimate customer service numbers to receive help in the matter. I paid extra for overnight shipping to arrive in time for Christmas. The intended recipient has attempted to help resolve the matter and experienced the same run around. This is not acceptable business and I am at this point the tenth person to bring it to the BBB of NY attention.Initial Complaint

I purchased the Gravity Weighted Sleep Mask as a gift. When I opened the package to give the gift to the recipient (my husband) the package was infested with an ants' nest. I had to immediately remove the package outside and spray it with RAID bug spray to kill the ants. There were ants all over the shipping package and the product package, all of which I had to spray down. Because of this, the product is unusable and I contacted the company to initiate a return/refund. The only way to get in touch is an email or email form. I emailed the company (with the contact email address provided in my order confirmation) on Thursday, 05Sept explaining the situation and requesting a refund. By Saturday, I decided to instead use their email form on the website to see if that would get a response quicker. I followed up to my email on Monday, and again on Wednesday. It has been a full week without any response, and reading reviews, I doubt I will get a response, so I am filing a complaint. Essentially, the product I received brought an ants' nest into my home and I believe I should be at least refunded the amount I paid for the product, since it is unusable. Attaching pictures post-spray for evidence; note in the photos the ants are dead, and there were many, many more ants before I had a chance to get the spray and handle the situation.Initial Complaint

I placed an order on the companys website for the following product on July 24, 2024 for my husband as a gift.******************************************************************************************************************* Unfortunately he doesnt like the blanket.The company states on their website that theres a 30 day return policy.***************************************** I emailed the company on Aug 8 about a return/ refund. Placed an order for a blanket. As soon as I received it decided I wanted to return it. Company will not respond to emails which is the only way to return. It has been almost 3 weeks and website says 30 days to return. Got an automated email saying it takes 72 business hours to respond and dont send follow up emails. What a joke. I purchased a cooling king-sized weighted blanket from this company on April 7th, order number ********* My husband and I tried it for a couple of nights, and he just doesnt like it. The product is quality, but it seems he is just not a weighted blanket person. Given we had only used it a couple times, and it was in pristine condition, I wanted to return it. I followed the instructions on Gravity Blankets website to start a return, which involved emailing their customer service team to request a return, including the order number and shipping ZIP Code. I did that on April 29, within the 30-day return window, and received an auto-reply that said they would contact us back within 72 hours and that we should not contact them again, to avoid delays in processing time. However, three weeks later, I still have not heard anything from them. One week ago, I sent another email to them, asking what our course of action could be since they did not get back to us in the promised 72 hours, and it had been in fact, two weeks. I threatened to leave a negative review, something I dont like to do, but was looking for options to get them to actually contact us. One week later, they have not responded. We have complied with all aspects of their return policy, yet have a $345 blanket we dont want and cannot seem to return now. I just want to be able to return this to the company and receive a refund. I have seen several other negative reviews on their website since making this purchase (reviews that werent originally there), so I know many other customers are experiencing similar frustrations.Customer Answer
