      I called and spoke to ***************************, owner Ohm acoustics, almost 4 months ago about repairing my ohm speakers he quoted me a price of $350 and gave me the address and which to send them in for repair. He stated it would be about a 2-week process in which I agree to. I would call periodically and it was always **** who answered the phone. He would tell me that the speakers were almost ready but we're still being worked on. At one point he told me that the speakers were not there but had been sent out to a place in *********** I believe it was. He didn't seem to care about the actual speakers that I sent in he was always very vague in his answers and really didn't seem to care where my speakers were. I would say that I have called at least a dozen times asking about my speakers and he would always say that they are fixed and they are just waiting for something else to be done. I have heard through the grapevine that the company is looking to be sold or going out of business. He is not able to put his hands on the actual speakers that I have mailed to him and admits that he doesn't know where they are. These speakers are worth $2,000. When fixed. The cabinets are in excellent condition but are worthless without the speaker cans that I sent him for repair. At this point I am very concerned about ever getting my speakers back. I called today and he asked if I had paid for the repairs yet and which I said of course not they're not even repaired yet. It almost sounded to me like he wanted to collect money for something that had not been done. I'm very concerned about this company and where it's headed I honestly don't know what to do at this point and I need BBB's help I either want them to be fixed properly and charged $350 for them or if they are lost I am seeking the value of the speakers which is $2,000

      Problem is resolved.  These ~40 year old speakers have been repaired and are waiting for *** to pick them up.  His speakers have maintained their value because we do provide this service.  We gave him a $300+ discount

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ********, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

      I am going to wait to see what was done to the speakers to make sure it was done. There was some communication with **** that would lead me to wonder. For instance he asked me to make payment before knowing if the speakers had been fixed. He said he did not know even where they were. He also said that they were ready to go but still needed to be put together and painted i believe he said. so there was conflicting statements. an hour later he called saying everything was good and asked for the payment, so i want to keep the complaint in until the speakers arrive to inspect what was done
