    I have a storage unit with local locker.The facilities continued to degrade over time. First it started with bugs and they assured me they were taking care of it. Their solution was to spray poison over my unit, which is covered only in chicken wire. So when I went to access my unit, I had to wear a mask to not choke on the poison inhaled and was not even warned about this. I was hopeful this was a one time issue,but when I returned there were other kinds of bugs including sewer flies congregating. My friend who had come with me said it was a horror. Things had turned worse.So I decided I needed to start taking my personal things out, and upon entertaining the facilities I was met by shelving units of someones belongings completely blocking the pathway except for a small sliver of space to get by, just sitting there out in the open. Along with that, was literally a huge patch of mud that when I attempted to step through it, completely ruined my shoe. because of this, and no way to remove anything of mine, I took photos, sent this to locallocker, and they granted me a temporary credit and once again, assured me this would be taken care of. Except I never heard from them. Not a single word. So I went back recently, again, to try and start to remove my things from this bug infested, muddy, unsanitary place and I was locked out. When I contacted them, I was told It is because I owe them money, and that they had fixed the issues a long time ago.They NEVER INFORMED ME of any issues being fixed, how many times was I supposed to go there and waste my time being confronted by bugs, mud and peoples things? So, now they wont let me have my things. I simply want to remove my belongings to a sanitary facility. I need access to my stuff so that I can move it out. I was repeatedly begging them to fix the problems and even sent them photograph evidence and videos! Now they have ignored my last email asking to access my stuff. I just want to get my stuff out.

    I was notified at the beginning of May that suddenly my storage rate was jumping almost 2x from what I currently pay. I asked for a supervisor to explain why this is happening and no one got back to me, which is unprofessional and rude. I have had zero billing issues with this company in the past. I am a physically disabled person and cannot vacate my unit now or in the near future due to my physical limitations. I don't think it's right to enact this time of rate hike, with hardly any explanation or notice. Also, the building my unit is in is clearly not full and almost every business has left. My unit is 1 of the smallest, if not the smallest size available and I think it is shameful that you are trying to charge this for this size unit. I cannot afford a rate hike like this all of a sudden and I cannot physically leave my unit. Someone needs to get back to me via email about this. **************** was totally unhelpful.

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ********, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

    I received notification that the rent is increasing on my storage unit, which makes no sense because I was assured in writing after having to formally complain last year, that my rent would remain the same and my account would be notated as such. The BBB clearly lists the complaint, as well as the businesss response. I was notified that suddenly my storage rate was jumping almost 2x from what I currently pay.
