    I have been going to telehealth therapy with a counselor named ******************************* since Aug of 2022. I was charged a cancellation fee of 125$ On 2/27/23 that was not approved by me and without my consent or any information regarding the price that I was going to be charged. The document I initially signed before beginning therapy was very unclear as there is no time frame indicated for cancellations and there is no fee amount indicated as well. I cancelled this session >24hr and due to ********* going on vacation, we were unable to reschedule until 3 weeks later. I was then immediately charged 125$ For not being able to reschedule within a 2 week time frame as noted in the policy. The amount of money charged to my card was the same amount of money as a session which is not indicated anywhere, nor was I told about this amount of fee. The conditions surrounding cancellations are very unclear as well as the rescheduling policy. The only circumstance where I didnt make the session within the two-week time span was between 12/7 which I canceled, rescheduled for the 15th, and on the 15th we mutually agreed to start back up after Christmas which was within the policy since it was mutual. ********* said she made several waives of the fee but this only happened once (which at the time we mutually agreed upon anyways and within the policy for being mutual). The policy states that there is a freebie 1x/year which had not been used either. Additionally, the other document I signed indicated that I give permission to be charged for each completed session not for fees, therefore I was charged without permission. Another concern I have is that the documents that I signed were never returned back to me with a signature from the practice and therefore are void regardlesss. I attempted to resolve this with both ******************************* and ***************************** of Juniper Therapeutic services though they said they wouldnt refund me and then stopped answering my emails.
