      On my 15 2023 I donated a sectional worth around $3000.00 . He( ***************************) promised a receipt for tax purposes and never got it. Its over a month now and last he claims his wife put it in a mailbox. He does not come to pick up the furniture he sends the people who want the furniture. Not professional at all. I dont know how he stays in business. I think he is not really a non profit. I would not deal with this business. I would like a receipt and let the world know how he does business

      This is what I responded to ****** when he left the same comment on ******* I had told him that my wife send the receipt and he angrily cursed me and said he was going to ruin my reputation with BBB. I offered to send a duplicate receipt and he said to go to ****.
      I don't understand how this person can be so angry if something got lost in the mail and I offered to send another receipt

       

      Hi ******,
      My wife sent out the receipt to you two days after the couch was picked up. I don't understand why you didn't get the receipt but we will send another one out to you to make sure you get it. We provided your couch to a needy family who couldn't afford furniture. Since we do not have place to hold a large item such as your sectional, we had the needy family pick it up from you directly. I'm sorry if that was not what you expected, but we feel it's better to have our clients pick up items rather than going into the landfill.
      All the items that people donate go to needy families and we are a 503c Non Profit and our only benefit from the organization is to get free furniture to people who cannot afford to purchase items

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ********, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

      The complaint has not been resolved. He constantly lies. I never cursed him out. I simply told him that I did not get the donation receipt. I said that because of this I'm going to put a complaint in with the BBB and put in reviews on social media. This response only shows what kind of person he is and refuses to do the right thing. I will continue to complain about him on social media. He knows he is wrong and is trying to lie about me to make himself look good. His wife **** contacted me on July 26 thru a text and did not know of this problem. She apologized and was very nice, she said she will send me the receipt, however its July 31st and I still have nothing.****** just continues to lie, he needs to learn from his wife on how to do the right thing.

      This complaint is total nonsense 

      His complaint is that he didn't get the receipt for his donation

      WE SENT IT OUT TO HIM

      he didn't get it

      WE BROUGHT IT TO THE **** OFFICE AND MAILED IT

      His complaint that we sent a client to pick up his donated couch and he was upset about it

      HE DIDNT HAVE TO ALLOW THE PERSON TO COMEIF HE DIDNT WANT TO GET RID OF HIS COUCH HE DID NOT HAVE TO ALLOW THE PERSON TO COME PICK IT UP. I DID NOT FORCE HIM TO ALLOW A NEEDY PERSON TO COME AND PICK IT UP. He could have said no way, but he obviously wanted to get rid of the couch otherwise he would have kept it

      He complained that I lied to him

      WHAT DID I LIE TO THIS PERSON ABOUT.

      I gave my wife a filled out tax donation and put it in the mail

      WHAY DOES THIS PERSON WANT.... BLOOD

      This person needs to understand that I have nothing to gain from his "contribution" of his couch. I simply passed it on to a needy person who could not afford to buy one. I did not benefit one bit from his transaction. I will be glad to send him another receipt once I get back from our vacation even though he told my wife not to bother to send out another receipt

      I dont understand what this a** is saying. My complaint is that I did not get the receipt. So where is it. Why is he lying about  it. Why does he not want to give me the receipt. How does he stay in business. Hes bringing up everything that has no bearing on this issue. Again how does it take months to get a receipt. At this point I cannot listen to his nonsense. I just want it on record that this is a problem business. The consumer should be wary of dealing with him. Social media needs to let all consumers know that if they deal with him they will get lies and have problems. 

      Again so where is the receipt !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
