      I purchased a theme from TemplateMonster in July 2024, and after the six-month support period expired, the theme started having compatibility issues with Elementor. The page builder stopped functioning properly because the theme was no longer up to date. I contacted the theme author, who promptly fixed the issue, but they informed me that TemplateMonster was taking a long time to approve the update that would resolve the bug and restore full functionality.When I reached out to TemplateMonster support, they claimed that the update had been released on January 30th, 2025. However, I never received any email notification about this, nor did my account dashboard reflect any new status, update, or release information in any way. I had been waiting for weeks, unable to work on my website, all because TemplateMonster failed to communicate transparently.I raised my concerns with their support team about the lack of transparency, only to have many of my questions ignored. Instead, they told me that my support had expired and that I would need to renew it for $77. However, it is not my responsibility to pay for an update that should be made available to all customers, regardless of support ****************************** handling of this situation feels dishonest and misleading. Their lack of communication and refusal to address a critical issue shows a complete disregard for their customers. This was my first purchase from them, and I deeply regret it. I will never buy from TemplateMonster againthis experience has been frustrating, disappointing, and a complete waste of time and money. Their customer support is terrible, and their platform lacks basic transparency regarding updates.

      I purchased a template. I installed the template on my server and it did not work. I then discovered that the template is for Joomla 3 which was discontinued in August 2023 and is no longer supported, the current Joomla version is 5.0. Monster Templates was not willing to develop the template to be compatable with a supported version of Joomla (version 4 or version 5), and are not willing to support their template beyond Joomla version 3 which is officially end-of-life. Monster Templates is also not willing to refund my money, even though I explained to them that the template didn't work, and that i deleted it.

      June 15th2023 I purchased a all in one package for a private website site at $1462.00. I never heard from the design manager for days and kept trying to reach through their chat system on the website. They just kept saying someone would be contacting me. I requested a phone call and no one ever called. I paid for the service and it was never done or communicated when it would be complete. I would of been satisfied if a manager or employee would have contacted me and advised me of the design and target dates for completion. My credit card company reversed the charge and then the company replied with lies and never provided me with the services I purchased for $1462.00. I have called them and used the chat and they keep saying someone will be in contact with me. They have taken my money and provided 0 services. In my provided documents you can clearly see that In my account with ********************** I only have the theme I purchased with them and plug in for the theme at $95.00. There is no All In Package for the $1462.00.

      6/15/23 I paid for Dropship customization website and template monster promised me that they could do the website per my request as I wanted automatic Dropship download products and update. They suggested I get hosting from their providers and I did. They were not able and suggested I pay for Dropship plug in and I did but they were still not able. After I paid for Dropship plug in and hosting. Then said the Dropship providers they could not upload their products. They suggested Shopify but that is not what I signed up and Shopify cost $39 monthly and will not own my website. Plus I just paid for hosting and plug in. They will lie just to get u to sign up and not give refunds. As of today nothing was delivered and no websites. They claim They have the website completely delivered but that is a lie. Show proof. I have all the chats saved of what was promised and not delivered. I have not contract another company to complete my website. They are scammers and I see they have bad reviews online on customer issues

      They offered me 50% refund  I told them I need 100% refund as I was promised a Dropship website and was not delivered they stated that 50% was fair because they did some work but I told them the work they did was not my Dropship website delivered so need all my money paid

      Subject: Complaint against the services of TemplateMonster Dear Sir/*****,I am writing to file a complaint against the company TemplateMonster, with whom I recently transacted for the purchase of a website. I purchased a set of services that included the template, technical support for 6 months, language translator, blog, logo creation, template installation, and more. I made this purchase on April 7, 2023, for an amount of CAD 1940.However, from the first few days after the purchase, I started experiencing problems with the website interface. The problems were numerous, including bugs, language and currency errors, icons scattered in the wrong places, and interface elements that needed to be removed. Despite my numerous requests and reports of these problems to TemplateMonster, nothing has been resolved to this day, April 23, 2023.In light of this situation, I have decided to file a complaint with my bank and freeze the funds. TemplateMonster refused to refund me and did not provide the services for which I paid. I felt misled by TemplateMonster's promises of quality service. Their services were of poor quality, and I suffered significant financial harm.Therefore, I am writing a complaint to various organizations, including the Better Business Bureau, and I also intend to contact the appropriate authorities to assert my consumer rights. I believe that TemplateMonster has breached its contractual obligations and violated consumer protection laws.Please find attached all relevant documents to support my complaint.       I purchased a template from Template Monster and right after "support term" expired for the purchased template I had to upgrade 1 paid 4th party (this extension is created by an unrelated party to template monster or the creator of the template) extension. In order for me to update the extension I need some info that was never given to me. I already paid for the extension with the template.When I contacted Template Monster I was told that I need to pay for support (the support term expired) which is ridiculous. I already paid for the template and this extension (Smart Slider 3) came with it. They want me to pay $53 so I can update a 4th party extension.

      On September 7th, I created an account through TemplateMonster.com otherwise known as ************** with the intent of downloading a PowerPoint template. However, I consistently received error messages every time I attempted to do so. I used ********* Edge, then Chrome, then Internet Explorer. I knew enough to clear my cache and cookies before attempting download with each browser but still did not have any luck.I chatted with three or four customer service and technical support people that refused my refund, stating the download appeared to have been successful on their side. I sent multiple screenshots showing the error messages and was shuffled from one person to the next, only to have them all say they can't see any issues on their side. Furthermore, users do not have the ability to cancel the service through the interface, yet they have to email a request to cancel from the email address they signed up with. Every other template house allows you to control your account settings yourself.This is either a poorly executed interface or perhaps a MAC only interface but the fact that my refund was not issued is particularly disturbing to me. Its just bad practice, and due to them taking absolutely no accountability was infuriating and I felt people need to know this before using them. They are not a reputable company and I wanted it on the record.

      Purchased subscription to monsterone.com Next day downloaded wordpress theme. When uploaded to my wordpress site, error occured. tried several times. Opened zip file, not a wordpress theme. documentation in file is incorrect AND for a completely different wordpress theme.
