    I ordered 1/4 keg from Consumer’s Beverage two weeks in advance for a party that was held Sunday 9/1/2024. I followed up twice in that two week span to make sure the keg I ordered had arrived. I was told the keg was in store. When I went to pick the keg up, they misplaced my order. At this point I was on time crunch for the party and my only other option was to get the larger 1/2 keg of the same beer. Sure enough, we didn’t use all that beer. Over the next couple of days I was in contact with the store asking to be refunded the price difference between the two kegs (roughly $30-40), I even told them a gift card would be fine seeing as I shop there often. I was told by the manager that he was advised from highers up that there is nothing that can be done and no refund will be taken place.

    I do not think this is a knock on the store manager or his associates, as they couldn’t have been nicer during the process. Someone in ownership or upper level management needs to come to their senses and compensate me, considering I placed my order two weeks in advance and told it had arrived.
