6-23-2023 purchased $27,384 Solar Panels from Salesman during sales blitz in subdivision. Salesman did a pre-qualifying assessment and listed Rebates accordingly . Listed $3231 rebate
eligibility I have NOT received along with $1000 incentive for being 1st resident to purchase panels in the subdivision. ** These incentives NOT to be confused with Utility and SREC incentives I am currently receiving and are listed separately on the sales worksheet presented at time of sales.
i repeated back the Federal Rebate listed $8215 and $3231 Rebate totaling $11,446 back to Salesman to ensure I was entitled to he monies as this total was a major deciding factor to purchase and finance these panels. As of 6-26-2024 I have only received FEDERAL REBATE when filing my 2023 taxes. ***KR SOLAR websites talk about integrity and customer service within their company and excellence. KR SOLAR will not and has not taken responsibility and integrity to resolve my monies due me during this transaction. These Panels are financed through ****** ***** as set up from Salesman. KR Solar indicates the salesman is an independent LLC, however, he used KR Solar Email address, phone , letter head and social media
indicating his employment with KR Solar. I have reached out to President Gerald R******* via certified letter (no response); Justin D****** V.P. Operations; P D**** (Email and Text); J C****** (text, Voicemail-No response); and numerous phone messages to ###-###-####.
** My issue has been dismissed from this company.
I feel KR Solar should pay Monies due me as outlined in my complaint and resolve any training, accountability and integrity issues internally within their organization.
** I do not feel I should be caught in the crossfire of these sales tactics this company needs to resolve to stay respectful and with integrityBusiness Response

Unfortunetly there is nothing we can do. As a contractor he only sold products independantly through us. We are also looking for him as he owes us money and we are sending him to our attorney. I suggest maybe filing a police report. Sorry there is nothing more we can do.Customer Answer

KR Solar ResponseKR Solar feels they cannot resolve my issue to my request, citing they are not responsible. The company also mentioned the salesman J. C****** owes them money and they cannot locate him. This contradicts the information provided to me by a company executive during a phone call and Email providing me with personal address, phone and Email for J C******. I was also informed J. C****** was hired as a referral from one of their associates P. D****. Within the past 2 weeks J C****** no longer has KR Solar listed as sales experience. Why he sudden elimination of his prior experience with KR Solar..As stated before, he used company letterhead, Email and contact info selling me this expensive investment. But… they want no affiliation with his actions while allowing use of their “brand”..I mentioned previously the financing is with ****** *****, and if J. C****** or KR Solar reaps a financial gain from this sale, they are accepting these monies based on deceptive tactics. **This question needs answered as well….. as I the consumer would be essentially providing the %KR Solar / J C****** received from the ****** Loan Partnership.Initial Complaint

KR solar is a division of KR communications located in Buffalo New York there customer service email address is [email protected]. However David D****** who works for a division of that company KR Solar is the representative that sold us the system his email address is ******************
KR Solar promised that they would install a Solar Attic wrap after the installation of our solar system through ********. ******** is a solar provider that comes out and installs solar panels. The KR representative told my wife and I that after the installation KR would have their installers come out install the Solar Attic wrap to ensure our attic is kept cool. The installation happened everything went well, afterward the city inspector came out and approved the inspection and reviewed all the pictures. The purpose of a solar Attic wrap based off my research is a radiant barrier is to keep your attic cool. I also what the attic wrap installation performed by professional certified installers.
The following has been done:
1. ******** Solar Installation ( not responsible for solar attic wrap)
2. City Inspector came out (not responsible for solar attic wrap)
The following has not been done:
1. KR solar Attic wrap
a. KR attic wrap installers have not called me for an installation date
b. KR solar attic wrap installers have not come out install my attic wrap
I included the Agreement and KR email correspondence in this email proving this was part of the whole installation package. I also want the attic wrap installation performed by professional certified installers.Business Response

This was accidental error made by a new rep where the correct triggers were not entered into the CRM that would have automated the attic wrap install and cash back offer. A contractor/tech of KR communications used deception and fraud to switch my tv service from Dish to DirecTV on 8/9/2022. He wore a shirt with Dish on one sleeve and DirecTV on the other. His line was that att had bought Dish, and now owned both Dish and DirecTV. Turns out this is not true. He never mentioned KR Communications. I got that from an email and a phone call. I discovered the scam on 8/24/2022. I cancelled the DirecTV, returned the equipment, and have been back and forth with DirecTV, at&t, and KR ever since. I now have a bill of $510.00 for early termination and after that a bill for $170.49 for service. I want all these charges removed. I want something done about the fraudulent tactics. There's more than one of these guys working this scam around here. I'm not sure if it's just senior citizens they get or others as well.Business Response

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********* and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Robert, of KR Communications in Buffalo, NY, called yesterday (9/6/2022) and gave me a line of crap, starting with it is not against the rules for the independent contractor(s) to work for both companies. That doesn't change the fact that they are scamming people with the lies they are telling as they misrepresent themselves and "the companies." He then asked if I had already cancelled the DirecTV. Yes. Had I gotten a bill for ETF? Yes. In that case there was nothing he could do for me. Then he tried to sell me DirecTV. End of the call. There was no mention of terminating anyone. This scam seems to be a regular practice of their employees or contractors, whatever they call them, not just one guy. And claiming someone has been terminated seems to be a standard response to complaints. I understand KR cannot remove the charges, but they can certainly recommend the action to DirecTV and AT&T, because KR is the start of this whole mess.

The purpose was to get information from you and what you were charged for so we could work with DIRECTV on getting the ETF removed. I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********* and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me if they follow through. The message is a bit garbled to me, but apparently there is an escalation or escalation form that takes up to 10 days. This form has not come to me. I have been contacted and am waiting to be contacted again by a Rebecca K***** of DirecTV's "office of the president. Maybe that has something to do with it. Crossed fingers. I do not like any of this. Thank you for the assistance.
