    I prepaid for a package deal with her for an initial evaluation and 5 private dog training sessions. I paid a deposit if $210 for an initial evaluation on 8/21/23 and the balance of $395 on 8/30/23 a Total of $605. Melissa was late to 2 out of the 3 appointments that she actually showed up to 9/6 and 10/15 I picked her up for the other on 8/30. I have evidence of her arrival times via my ring camera. Melissa canceled and rescheduled multiple sessions. With no notice! On the day of 9/6, 9/27, 10/11, 10/23 Which I have proof of via text message. Our last scheduled session was supposed to be on 10/30/23 at 10am Melissa just didn’t show up at all. She then proceeded to text me at 11:06am asking if I was still good for today’s session. Which was scheduled to end 6 minutes prior to her reaching out. Again evidence via text message since that was our primary means of communication. She has been very inconsistent, very unprofessional and negligent . While the entire time I was very patient and understanding! At that point I asked her for my money back, only for the sessions I prepaid for that we had NOT yet completed. Due to her lack of professionalism and very little respect for my time, my schedule and my money and she refused. She stated there are no refunds on package deals as stated in her policy that she also acknowledges I never received! I asked her via text message and in person multiple times and she never provided me that information. Nor did she tell me at any point verbally there were no refunds. I feel like it’s a very reasonable request considering the multiple inconveniences she has cost me and my family due to last minute cancellations and not showing up at all. If this dispute does not settle at this level it will be escalated.

    I hired Melissa to do Dog training. $190 for the initial visit. She was late to this visit.
    I signed up for additional training $355. She was over an hour late to first session of that package. Annoyed, we will went through with training. She constantly said she was going to provide handouts and contracts which she never did. She joked and said she would be on time for our next scheduled training. Our third training she was over a half hour late and she was at the wrong address. At this time I said I was upset that she ruined our evening and that I did not want to go forward with the training that night. She offered me a refund of $50 or an additional training. I was so disappointed and upset that I needed time to figure out what I wanted to do. Easter/mothers day/a death in the family passed that I reached out to Melissa because my trainings did not expire and she said time in between the trainings was necessary. I did reach out to her multiple times and told her I can no longer welcome her into my home and that we felt completed disrespected and taken advantage of and she did not respond. It finally took a ******** review of her to respond to me and still she would not answer my phone calls. A few weeks later I had someone reach out to me complaining she was going through the same thing with Melissa, how she was always late, never received said handouts, and lack of professionalism she had.

    I asked Melissa for $250 back because of the trainings she did not provide and she told me she doesn't issue refunds. She said she wasn't worried about my 1 star review because of all the other 5 star reviews she had and my review wasn't going to hurt her. I never got a contract so I wouldn't have known what this policy was. At this point I want the total $355 dollars back because of her lack of professionalism and the way she handled our business together.
