    I did not authorize a purchase of an audiobook. They roped me in with a supposed free membership but when I selected a book and used the orange “use credit” button they charged me 14.95. I did not approve the charge. This is a scam operation

    I have canceled this audio books it wasn't to my liking and I asked for a refund and I still have not received it even though it was only $14.99 I still would like to have it back in my account I haven't heard any word from them at all

    I signed up for the free trial and canceled immediately when I saw what they offered. It was the same selections I have with *******. I received a text back stating I should just enjoy a book anyway since I had the service for a week. My credit card was charged $14.95. I contacted them immediately and was told my account was active. I signed back on and canceled again. They still have not removed the charge even though their records will show that their services were not used.
    The free trial is a scam.

    Tried to sign up for the free trial. Wasnt told they were going to pre auth a FULL MONTHS subscription fee. Logged in today to cancel the account was rudely told since the pre auth didnt go through there was "nothing to delete"
    But i could still log in. So there is definitely something to delete. Scammy business feel with even worsw customer service. Definitely wouldnt recommend

    It looks like I am agreeing with most of the customers here. I have been charged monthly since September for an audio book's membership that I canceled back in July and I have had to be on the phone with them several times. Each time I call they say there is no record of a cancelation or any other phone calls. Today I asked the customer service rap for her email so I could send her record of the 1st cancelation which I did. Audiobooks is terrible and obviously does corrupt practices just to keep your membership. I would not recommend.

    I was suddenly entered into a monthly charge cycle with Audiobooks.com starting in July 2020. They charged me for three months before I reconciled my transactions. I don't remember authorizing the charges or signing up for their service. I did signup for Audible.com around the same time, are these two companies related or offering a package? The odd thing is, the email associated with my account profile had a typo in it so I never received coorespondance from Audiobooks.com. I have cancelled my account and hope to never see a charge from this company again.

    This company is a fraud and mislead people about their free trial. I'm on a budget and have to account for every dollar I spend. So when I was charged 14.95 for a free trial I was shocked. This messed up my acct. and payments pending. When I contacted them I was told to send an email to them. Did this twice through their link and was told they didn't receive it. This company should be ashamed of the way they treat people. Will definitely tell every person to beware. Now I'm suppose to wait for my money back and cover any return fees and late payment problem that might arise from this. Disgusting
